One Earth • One Human Family Youth Conference

What if a single day in nature could help to inspire a lifetime of caring for our world and one another?

Youth ages 11–18 are invited to spend the day exploring the trails of Rez, creating nature-inspired art, building friendships, and discovering how each of us can make a difference in our communities and for our planet.

Together we'll explore what it means to be good stewards of the Earth, celebrate our shared humanity, and leave inspired to create positive change.

Sunday, August 9
Jernegan Lodge & Trails at Rez
Registration closes August 1.

Please help us reach more local families by sharing this event with friends and neighbors. We look forward to spending the day together in nature!

"The House of Justice looks to rising generations of Bahá’ís to wholeheartedly address a wide range of intellectual challenges, overcome all pitfalls and obstacles, and render service for the betterment of the world. In the decades ahead, then, a host
of believers will enter diverse social spaces and fields of human endeavour.
To this arena, pregnant with possibilities, the Association for Bahá’í Studies can offer an important contribution." (24 July 2013)

Celebrating 50 years of ABS conferences, this issue of JBS offers personal reflections of long-time collaborators of ABS, together with a historical overview and a look to an exciting future of learning together.

You are warmly invited to the One Earth One Human Family 2026 Junior Youth Conference.

This one-day gathering offers space for friendship, reflection, creativity, and service as young people explore how we can care for our planet and contribute to the well-being of the human family.

While junior youth participate in conference activities, parents and/or sponsors (adults transporting youth attendees under 18) are invited to join an optional accompanying session exploring environmental stewardship, community service, and ways to support young people as they develop capacities for service to their communities. Through conversation and shared learning, participants will consider practical environmental projects that can be carried back to their neighborhoods and home communities.

Location: The Rez, Mishawaka, Indiana
Date: Sunday, August 9, 2026
Time: 9:30 AM – 5:00 PM

A parent or guardian should complete one form for each participant.

Registration must be submitted on or before August 1, 2026.

In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold. – Baha'u'llah

Before colonization, Indigenous peoples across the Americas already understood the existence of a Creator. How do you think spiritual truths are carried through cultures and generations?

As the soul grows, its capacity increases. Capacity is the measure of development. Love is the evidence of capacity. When we love humanity as God loves us, we have reached the perfect station. Eternal Life is then ours, and this mortal world can give us nothing more. Do good each day, if only by speaking a kind word. -
