This week we'll explore Psalm 40—the psalm that inspired U2's iconic song, "40." More importantly, we'll discover its timeless message about learning to wait on God. Waiting isn't always easy, but Psalm 40 reminds us that God is at work even in the waiting, transforming us from the inside out and giving us a new song of hope.

We'll also continue our series through the Psalms. This week we'll look at Psalm 51, where David pours out his heart in repentance and asks God for forgiveness. It's a powerful reminder of God's grace and mercy when we need forgiveness ourselves.

🌿 New Series Begins This Sunday: Summer in the Psalms! 🌿

This week, we're kicking off a brand-new series, Summer in the Psalms, as we spend the next several weeks exploring the timeless wisdom, hope, and encouragement found in the book of Psalms.

We'll begin with Psalm 1 as we consider the question: What does it mean to have a life that is truly good? In a world full of competing voices about where happiness and fulfillment are found, God's Word points us to a life that is deeply rooted in Him.

We'd love for you to join us—and don't come alone! Invite a friend, family member, coworker, or neighbor to experience Week 1 with you. There's a place for everyone, and we can't wait to worship and grow together.

🌿 Join Us as We "Tend the Bend"! 🌿

Our church is partnering with our local Parks & Recreation Department to help care for our community through the "Tend the Bend" initiative.

📅 Saturday, June 27
⏰ 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
📍 Ardmore Trail

We'll be helping clean up a section of the trail and would love for you to join us! If you'd like to help us be good neighbors and make a positive impact in our community, meet at the church at 8:45 AM before we head out together.

No supplies needed just a willing heart!

🎉 Father's Day Weekend at West Side! 🎉

This Sunday is Father's Day, and at West Side we want to celebrate all the incredible dads and father figures who make such a difference in our lives.

The celebration starts Saturday evening at 6:00 PM with our Father's Day Dinner. We hope you'll join us for a great time of food, fellowship, and appreciation.

Then on Sunday, we'll gather to worship our Heavenly Father and honor our earthly fathers during our service. It's going to be a special morning, and we'd love for you to invite your dad, grandfather, son, or any father figure to join us.

So make plans now and bring your fathers to our Sunday gathering!

P.S. Dad jokes are not only welcome—they're highly encouraged. 😄
