Olivet African Methodist Episcopal Church was the pioneer church for African Americans in the city of South Bend. Today, Olivet welcomes all who seek a relationship with Christ. The vision of Olivet AME church is "to minister to the spiritual, social, and physical needs of the people of the Michiana community."

Strawberry Shortcakes and Brownie Delights are back!!! Olivet AME Church will reintroduce our Strawberry Shortcake and Brownie Delight Fundraiser this Saturday, August 22, during the 2026 SBC-5k Peace Run, Walk, or Stroll. The event starts at 9:00 AM, and you can follow the race route on Facebook Live.
