The Pioneer mission team wishes to thank everyone for your generous donations of home goods on Sunday, May 31 in support of Friends of Recovery. Dennis and Sue Anthony were on-hand to load in the Pioneer parking lot, assisted by Greg and Sherrie Reynolds. At the end of the morning, the truck was completely full of many useful items. Your kindness and willingness to give have made a meaningful impact on this ministry and those it serves.

The proceeds from the Warehouse of HOPE will provide hope, support and resources to individuals and families on their recovery journey. We are grateful for your compassionate hearts and your commitment for serving others in our community. Thank you for partnering with us in this important work!

Supporting Friends of Recovery is only one of the many ways that Pioneer engages in local mission. We also actively support national disaster assistance, and international projects such as Living Waters, a local school, and a Child Life Center in Honduras. If any of these activities interest you, and you would like to be part of these efforts, please let us know. Everyone is welcome. Please contact us on social media, call the church office at 440-248-5260, or visit us Sunday mornings at 10:00AM online or in preson for worship and to learn more.

Thank you again for your support.

Reflections of a Beautiful Sweet Spirit Day!

Pentecost Sunday, May 24, 2026 - The Community Life and Cultivating Growth Teams are delighted to report that the 2026 Sweet Spirit flower deliveries were very joyfully received and a dual blessing for the recipients and Pioneer’s delivery volunteers. The colorful display of flowers that greeted our in-person and online worshipers on Pentecost Sunday set the mood for a lovely day. Each senior facility warmly welcomed our delivery people, and lots of smiles were exchanged with their staff and residents. Many inquiries were made about the origin of the flowers which offered a wonderful opportunity to speak a word about Pioneer and the love that we enjoy sharing with our local communities. Many residents remember us from previous years. The Pioneer ‘blessing cards’ were wonderful reminders of how the church promotes sharing God’s love with our neighbors. In addition, many of our beloved Pioneer members who are currently experiencing challenges or who find it difficult to attend in-person worship, were equally grateful to receive the colorful begonia remembrances. It was a great opportunity for the delivery volunteers to visit one-on-one with some of these dear members. The Community Life Team and the Cultivating Growth Team greatly appreciate all who offered their time and energy to this very worthwhile cause! Thank you to all our volunteers for a beautiful Spirit-filled day!
