𝘈𝘀𝘀𝘰𝘢𝘯𝘡𝘴 π˜‹π˜ͺ𝘴𝘒𝘣𝘭𝘦π˜₯ The Church was originally chartered in 1959 and was known as First Methodist Church of Solon.

In 1961, the Church purchased the property at the corner of SOM Center and Cannon Roads. Ground for the building was broken on March 22, 1964 and the first service was held on December 13, 1964. In 1968, with the merger of the Evangelical United Brethren and the Methodist denominations, the Church became the Solon United Methodist Church.
