This week in Faith That Works, James reminded us that our identity can’t be built on things that change. Success fades. Possessions can disappear. Status shifts. Even failure doesn’t get the final word. Who we are is rooted in something deeper: we are beloved children of God in Christ. James 1:9–11 challenges us to build our identity on what cannot be taken away.

10/23/2026

What defines who you are? This Sunday in Faith That Works, we’ll look at James 1:9–11 and the reminder that our identity can’t be built on success, possessions, status, appearance, or failure. All of those things can change. Our deepest identity is found in Christ — as beloved children of God.

Join us Sunday at 9:30 AM at the Solon Community Center.

Hey FUSE friends! We're back at it this week (10/21), and we're talking about MIRACLES and what they tell us about the identity of Jesus. This is going to be such a great conversation, so don't miss out! Mac 'n cheese and pulled pork coming your way at 6:30pm. See you Wednesday night!

When life feels uncertain, our first instinct is often to figure it out, fix it, or force an outcome. But James 1:5–8 points us somewhere better: ask God for wisdom, trust His character, and surrender what happens next. Faith doesn’t mean we always know the outcome. It means we trust the One who does.

10/16/2026

What would change if you trusted God’s wisdom more than your own ability to control the outcome? This Sunday, we continue Faith That Works with Week 3: Wisdom Over Control from James 1:5–8. Join us for worship at 9:30 AM at the Solon Community Center.

Taking a break this Wednesday, (Oct 14) but already looking forward to NEXT week. See you 10-21!

Trials don’t create our faith — they reveal it, refine it, and mature it. This week, instead of only asking, “How can I get out of this?” ask, “God, what are You forming in me through this?”

What do the difficult moments in our lives reveal about our faith?
This Sunday, we continue Faith That Works with James 1:1–4, looking at how trials test what we truly trust — and how God can use them to grow perseverance and maturity in us. Join us for worship at 9:30 AM at the Solon Community Center.

FUSE is back Wednesday night! This week: Jesus and the Kingdom of God. Jesus didn’t just bring a message — He brought a new kingdom into a broken world. We’ll talk about what it really means to live with Jesus as King, put His kingdom first, and let Him bring restoration into every part of our lives. Walking tacos at 6:30 PM 🌮 Bring a friend and come hungry!
