The post a few days ago about the floodwaters got the attention of Spirit 105.3 and I was invited on to share a little about trusting God in unknown times! We are beyond blessed not only that the waters didn't enter our building but also the outpouring of love and prayers as we all continue to navigate these crazy times. Continuing to pray for all affected by the floods! Blessings! -Pastor Brad

Church Family,

As many of you know, a powerful atmospheric river has swept through the Pacific Northwest, and the Snoqualmie river, just across the street from our building, has overflowed its banks. As you can see in the photo, the floodwaters have reached our church.

In moments like these, we’re reminded that our hope has never rested in walls or wood or paint, but in the God who holds us, our neighbors, and our entire community in His faithful hands. We are praying for everyone affected by this flooding; those whose homes, businesses, and daily routines have been disrupted, and all who are feeling anxious or overwhelmed today.

Please join us in lifting our community up in prayer. Let us ask God to protect those in harm’s way, to strengthen first responders, and to give peace to every heart. And let us trust, together, that the same God who has carried this church through generations will carry us through this as well.

May Christ’s peace surround our town, our church, and every person impacted.

Blessings,
Pastor Brad

Good Morning Church Family! We miss you all as we had to cancel Sunday morning service once again this week but we should hopefully be back in full swing next week!

This morning, I just wanted to take a few moments to share some thoughts about a topic that has been placed on my heart this past week!

Church hurt is nothing new and something that continues to effect so many people, causing them to walk about from the faith or grow resentment to their faith. I think it is important that we continue to be aware of this happening and look at the ways that all of us, as Christians, can help to rebuild those bridges and mend the relationships with those who found themselves being hurt by things the church or other Christians have done to me.

My encouragement this morning is that we can be people who seek the hurt and broken and help them to find healing through the foundation of Love!

Have a great Sunday and I cant wait to see you all again next Sunday!

Blessings!

No worship service this morning as Covid is making the rounds within our congregation!

Linked below is a great devotional on “the image of God.” How do you feel about being considered an inage bearer? How does it affect how you treat others who are also image bearers?

What does it mean to be made in God's image? Learn more about the divine role of humans established in the garden of Eden.

Good Afternoon Church Family! Due to the freezing weather and ice, which has frozen some of the pipes at the church and parsonage, we have decided to cancel tomorrow's service.

While we may not be meeting in person tomorrow I wanted to share a little devotional with you all, one that may be a little ironic with our current situation, but a great reminder of the One who continues to provide for us in every aspect of our lives!

Despite the cold and obstacles that we often face in our everyday lives, we can look to the passage today and be reminded that Jesus is the warmth and comfort that we all need in our lives to get through anything that life throws our way!

Stay warm and safe and see you all next Sunday! Much love and many blessings!

-Pastor Brad

I'm not sure how much I enjoy the freezing weather here as we're traveling across the United States, but I certainly can't wait till Spring comes! On the Hebrew calendar Nisan is the month that transitions from winter to Spring.
