82 years ago today, what’s been called the largest mass prayer in world history took place as President Franklin Roosevelt led the nation in a prayer for the success of D-Day. Over 100 million people listened and prayed simultaneously on the radio at home and around the world.

Participating in D-Day that day was the future father of Pope Leo XVI, Louis Marius Prevost, who was an executive officer of a tank landing ship (LST) in Normandy.

"The memory of the righteous is a blessing" - Proverbs 10:7

We pray this Memorial Day for the over 1.2 million souls who over our 250 year history have made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our freedom, and their families who never had a chance to say goodbye.

Earlier this month was Part 2 of a two part Initiation Ministry Partners workshop in both English and Spanish for OCIA/RICA leaders. This workshop was on the topic "How To Facilitate Conversion (Shared Christian Praxis)/Cómo facilitar la conversión (Praxis cristiana compartida)."

Hosted by St. Lawrence Catholic Church, what made it so special was it was the first in-person workshop by Initiation Ministry Partners in over 6 years, as they had been virtual since COVID!

A preview of hopefully many more in-person IMP workshops to follow.

Throwback to last month: we had our second largest ever Echo Community retreat!

Over 140 young adults from not just Georgia but several other states (as far away as Massachusetts!) gathered together at Covecrest for a weekend learning about John Paul II's Theology of the Body and grow in community.

Young adults and adults whose parents are divorced or separated are invited to three one-day retreats by Life-Giving Wounds: Catholic Ministry to Adult Children of Divorce.

These retreats invite participants to move through the broken image of love witnessed in their parents’ relationship toward their deepest identity found in God.

Attendees will receive guidance on navigating difficulties with love and trust, while discovering how the Catholic faith, spiritual practices, and the Sacraments are essential to self-knowledge and healing.
