“Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my
transgressions. [2] Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.” Psalm 51:1-2 NKJV

To know whom to ask and who is capable of providing help in any
given situation is basic to the child of God. This principle extends even when the requester has done wrong.

In these verses, we see a repentant transgressor, prayer to a Holy
God, as well as a request for reconciliation.

Have you ever been there, feeling the need for God's mercy and
grace prompting you to pray? Remember, God's mercy and grace are available to all who seek them.

Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. Jeremiah 29:12 NKJV

We are seemingly held captive by the bright light of pride, prudence, and prosperity; however, the Lord graciously instructs, "call upon Me, and I will listen," reminding us that our prayers are heard and valued by God.

Shall we then pray, confess, profess, and petition our God for corporate and personal deliverance and restoration? Let us identify specific areas in our lives and in our community that need God's intervention and lift them to Him.

When now?

And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. Acts 3:7 NKJV

At the express instruction of God's men, the lame man's limbs received healing mobility that he had never experienced. God's word, spoken by His servants and followed by obedience, fosters deliverance, encouraging believers to trust in His power for their healing.

Many seek health and healing. How about you? Will you hear and obey to receive His salvation, sanctification, and sealing? Obedience is key to fully experiencing God's promises.

When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. John 9:6 NKJV

A blind man, a blessed Healer, and a busy waterway show us what can happen when we believe, reminding us that healing can come from unexpected places and people.

Be open to God’s power to provide restoration, obey the Rhema Word, and operate and declare His deliverance from a place of healing.

And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, "Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored to you, and you shall be clean." 2 Kings 5:10 NKJV

It may seem difficult or unnecessary to follow directives from anyone other than those we personally respect, but doing so will bring healing and deliverance.

Naaman the Syrian leader initially refused to wash his leprosy away in the Jordan River; however, when he complied, he received healing.

Have you ever received instructions for healing and wholeness but refused to accept because of the messenger? From some anointed Preacher, Pastor, Prophet, Bishop, apostle, or other man or woman of God. Take the dip for healing!

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, Philippians 3:13 ESV

I, like Paul, find it vitally important to encourage you to focus on spiritual growth and to remain hopeful about the great day of the Lord's return, inspiring you to stay motivated in your faith journey.

Forget, we must, that which we previously experienced and press for the blessings and completeness in Christ Jesus - to grow toward spiritual maturity and eternal life. What a glorious time it will be; eternal life, a resurrected body, and joyful fellowship with the Lord and the saints.

"For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work, saving everyone who believes-the Jew first and also the Gentile." Romans 1:16 NLT

As I ponder my life, I confess I am emboldened by the fact that I have shame in the Gospel, the "Good News." It is that Good News that empowers mere man to become delivered from the power, the pollution, and eventually the very presence of sin, death, and eternal punishment from God. Hallelujah!!!

As bad as this life may seem, it doesn't have to be this good. Share the Good News and help others find hope and salvation!

[18] may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height [19] to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:18-19 NKJV

Our God graciously committed the Gospel of Salvation to humanity, inviting us to trust in His kindness and love, thereby deepening our faith and gratitude. It prompts one to confess Jesus as Lord (1 John 4:15), which can inspire hope and acceptance, inviting everyone to embrace God's love openly. To receive the Holy Spirit’s indwelling (Eph 3:17) and to walk as He walks (1 John 2:6).

That good thing, which was committed to you, keep by the Holy Spirit who dwells in us. 2 Timothy 1:14 NKJV

As I was reading, I noticed the Apostle Paul encouraging Timothy. What a reminder of how much our faith and the Gospel are valued. This encouragement inspires me to cherish and protect that which is held dear in our spiritual journey.

Therefore, we keep His commandments (1 John 3:24), continue in His Word (John 8:31), and further continue in His Love (1 John 4:16).

An early morning reminder today to reflect on what keeps your faith strong.
