Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria and preached Christ to them. [6] And the multitudes with one accord heeded the things spoken by Philip, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.[7] For unclean spirits, crying with a loud voice, came out of many who were possessed; and many who were paralyzed and lame were healed.[8] And there was great joy in that city. Acts 8:5-8 NKJV

Joy will erupt in the city when the Gospel of Christ is preached, when crowds believe, and when godly deliverance is manifested.

Despite our faillings, God is still faithful. Nehemiah herein encourages the people to reflect on the True God and His blessings both past and present!

As we enjoy these wayning weeks of the year we are encouraged. God has been faithful, some friends have stood with us, and the Word has been shared!

What a time when individuals hear and receive the word from God's servants and respond accordingly. Demonic spirits leave, healing takes place, souls are saved, and the community rejoices in Jesus.

And it came to pass, when the priests came out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the LORD, [11] so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of the LORD. 1 Kings 8:10-11 NKJV

When we involve ourselves in Godly ministry at His House, His divine presence can cause human worship to cease, as in this Old Testament occurrence, and His Spirit will entirely saturate the spaces and places of our location as our rituals take a back seat!.

indeed it came to pass, when the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD, and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying: "For He is good, For His mercy endures forever," that the house, the house of the LORD, was filled with a cloud, [14] so that the priests could not continue ministering because of the cloud; for the glory of the LORD filled the house of God. 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 NKJV

When we are active, unified, and in our proper place, and focus on the Lord, He will fill our space with His presence and glory.

And I said to him, "Sir, you know." So he said to me, "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14 NKJV

As I reflect on life, love, loyalty, and the Lord, I am ecstatic to be part of the 'these are they' crowd noted in this scripture. It reminds me that we belong to a victorious community of faith, and I pray you feel that same sense of belonging and encouragement. Praise the Lord!

Brothers and sisters, is your name remembered by God, if not by man, as a person of prayer and service seeking to add souls and servants to the kingdom?

I, for one, am humbled by divine selection and participation in this ministry. Yes, requested, required, relevant, and responsive participation. How about you?
