Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, who made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who by myself spread out the earth. Isaiah 44:24

For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God. Hebrews 3:4

Creator God, you formed us in the womb and built all things by your mighty hand. You stretched out the heavens and laid the earth’s foundation. As the true builder of all things, guide us to trust your design—build our lives upon your rock, that we may praise you now and forever. Amen

Saturday, August 29 — Psalm 104:19–23

As for me, I am poor and needy, but the Lord takes thought for me. Psalm 40:17

Our world is full of uncertainties, but because you care and truly concern yourself with our wellbeing, God, our lives are made more resilient. Whatever our circumstances may be, guide us to find a connection with you so that we might endure hardships and appreciate your abundance. Amen
