A cell phone without power becomes a paperweight.

In the same way, many believers are trying to live the Christian life without the power of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus never intended for us to live disconnected from Him.

The power to love, forgive, overcome temptation, walk in freedom, pray boldly, and bear fruit comes from abiding with Christ.

Abiding isn’t automatic.

Jesus said:

“Whoever abides in me… bears much fruit.”

The Christian life was never meant to be lived disconnected from the Holy Spirit.

Maybe the answer isn’t trying harder.
Maybe the answer is slowing down long enough to reconnect with Jesus.

Yesterday we were reminded that Jesus is not just a source of life — He is THE source of life.

When Jesus said,

“I am the true vine,”
He was teaching us that spiritual fruit, joy, peace, strength, freedom, and power all flow from abiding in Him.

Too often we try to live the Christian life disconnected from the presence and power of God.

But Jesus made it clear:
🌿 Abiding produces fruit
🌿 Intimacy produces transformation
🌿 Connection produces power

This week, don’t settle for fake fruit or spiritual exhaustion.

Stay connected to Jesus.
