Spiritual Warfare 2: We continue our study on spiritual warfare in Ephesians 6.
Paul says we are in a fight, a wrestling match, a knock-down-drag-out, no-holds barred scuffle. But it’s not with each other, or even with humans who don’t have the same views as us. It’s with Satan, with demons, with spiritual beings.

We are in a war. It's not with flesh and blood. It's with Satan, the god of this age. It's with the rulers and powers of this present darkness. We need to understand our armor and we need to put it on daily. We need to understand our weapon and wield it expertly. Read Ephesians 6:10-18. Onward Christian soldiers, let's put our armor on!

A mother’s love often gives us one of the clearest earthly pictures of the heart of God. It is patient, sacrificial, generous, protective, and enduring. Long before we understand theology, many of us first experience grace through the steady presence of a mother who gives without counting the cost. Today let's reflect on how the unconditional, sacrificial, and extravagant love seen in godly mothers points beyond itself to the even greater love of our Heavenly Father revealed through Christ.
