The Visitation and Viewing for Rev. Richard Hembrock will be today, July 23 from 4-8 PM in the sanctuary of our church in Smithsburg. The Lions Club will offer a special time of remembrance this evening around 7PM. The family will receive friends in the sanctuary and some light refreshments will be provided in Trinity Hall. You may well remember Pastor Hembrock was fond of coffee - strong, hot and black - so we will have that along with punch, water and tasty treats.

Next Thursday, July 30th the funeral will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hagerstown, MD at 11AM with a time of food and fellowship to follow. The address is 15 Randolph Avenue, Hagerstown. He was so involved in the lives of many people, and their larger sanctuary and reception area will better accommodate the expected attendance.

Please come and offer your prayers and kind expressions of thanks to Marilyn, his children and extended family.

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

Stay tuned, this 250th Commemorative quilt will be raffled once the final touches are complete. It’s been stitched by the women of Trinity Lutheran Church, and professionally quilted by Maryanne Gilbert of Frederick, Md. This will be raffled to support Operation Christmas Child, tickets will be $10.00 each. 100% of the proceeds from the raffle will be used to mail these wonderful boxes to children all over the world.

After a wonderful event today time to move onto the next thing. Next Sunday join us for a live band and hear my testimony on what got me to this role of youth leader😊 Service is from 6:30-7:30 for anyone who would like to join us. It is open to everyone!

Youth come early for pizza and stay afterwards for some fun!
