The small Greek island of Patmos is traditionally believed to be where John wrote the Book of Revelation.

According to Christian tradition, John was sent there during a period of exile under Roman rule.

Many believers recognize Patmos as one of Christianity’s most historically important locations.

A cave on the island, often called the Cave of the Apocalypse, is linked to where John reportedly received visions.

Today, Patmos continues to attract visitors, historians, and pilgrims interested in biblical history.

The island remains a symbol of faith, reflection, and one of the Bible’s most discussed books.
