We can’t wait to see all of youth back tomorrow night! If you haven’t joined us yet we would love to have you join in with our Adventure Kids and Acts 29 youth groups! We would love to have you join us at Smithland Second Baptist tomorrow morning!

- Also, Wednesday night youth groups, 6:00 - 7:30 pm

Sunday is positioned perfectly during the week.
It depends on each persons view of how the week unfolds…it is either at the beginning of a week prior to returning to activities, or it’s at the conclusion of a series of events that have drained you.
Either way…people need to be prepared for the upcoming week, or refilled from a week that took so much out of them.
Only with Jesus can we face what is ahead.

We hope to see you kids back again with us tomorrow night for Adventure Kids and Acts 29. If your kids have never been to our youth programs we would love to have them join us too! Tomorrow is Sunday!
We would love to have you join us at Smithland Second Baptist!

Sunday School @ 10:00 am
Morning Worship @ 11:00 am

We live in a country that has life and liberty, a free life that allows a freedom in everyday life.
A free country that allows freedom of many things.
Liberty = Freedom

Soldiers of battle paid a price for freedom in our country…a sacrifice that was made for the benefit of others.

One Man made a massive sacrifice for the entire world…a sacrifice that will have benefits that will span across eternity!
Jesus Christ died for me, died for you, died for everyone.
But there’s more……
He walked out of the grave…He lives to give freedom over all things and provides His Spirit to guide us along our journey.

Are you in search of “freedom”, a break away from this worlds entrapments? The ability to connect with Jesus Christ gives us everything we need to overcome a world of uncertainty.

Join us tomorrow as we gather together to focus on, worship, and praise our Lord God, His Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit that empowers each of us.

Praise be to The Lord!

So thankful for all the youth and adults that were at the church tonight for the Back to School BASH!
The kids enjoyed the food, the parrots, and of course…the water slide.
A special thanks to Mikal and Serena Trevathan for their presentation with their parrots. Everyone loved them!
We also want to thank the Ledbetter Fire Department for all of their help with the water slide. We greatly appreciate their help!
Thanks to all of those who helped, and to those who attended, it was a GREAT night at the house of The Lord!

Just a reminder about our Back to School Bash tomorrow night (8/19) at 6P at Smithland Second Baptist Church as we welcome back our Adventure Kids and Acts 29 youth programs. All kids are welcome ages K-12th grade. Bible devotional, food, GIANT waterslide, live parrots, free backpacks and school supplies, and other prizes to be given away! If you need a ride we will be glad to pick you, just contact Cheryl May at 270-217-8649 by no later than 4P. Come and have a fun night in the Lord!
