Welcome to Slater United Methodist Church. We are a very loving congregation, and we seek to embody the Love of Christ to all we encounter.

Through worship, study, fellowship and service, we seek to live out Christ’s commands to the love the Lord and love our neighbor. At Slater UMC there are many different opportunities to grow spiritually. From Sunday morning worship, to mid-week programming and on-going mission opportunities, you will find that Slater is a place where we put God first in all we do.

Some spring cleaning , housekeeping day!

Last day of cutting and splitting until fall. A good year ! 36 loads delivered, 38 at the wood lot for fall! God is Good !

Trying to wind up the wood season . Split our last wood away from the woodlot then headed to the woodlot to split our recent gift of donated logs. Thanks to all who donated to the cause. As of now we delivered 35 loads this past winter. We should finish with 37 loads for next winter . God is good!

Come home to Slater United Methodist Church on April 26 at 11am for a heartwarming Homecoming Service, followed by a delicious meal shared with friends and family!

The Slater woodchucks at work again this week. We cut and split 2 loads delivered 1 then took one to the woodlot. A couple of members found a big pile of wood during a neighborhood clean up and cutting some trees in their yard. They borrowed a neighbors dump trailer and took 4 loads plus another truck load to the woodlot to split. Counting these loads we have delivered 34 loads this winter and will have 27 loads at the woodlot for next year. God is good!
