Officially, Transfiguration is an Episcopal Church. Episcopalians in general tend to have a Mainline Protestant outlook while maintaining a more Eucharist-centered (Holy Communion) worship format similar to that found in Lutheran, Catholic, or Orthodox Churches. This arrangement has not produced two churches sharing one building, but rather One Church sharing space and clergy while offering two different worship styles.
