🌾 The Corral of the Mind 🕊️

During a Kingdom Corral session, the corral becomes the arena of our mind — the horses mirroring our inner world of thoughts and emotions.

This world we think we’re hiding behind the veil of our actions is actually leaking out into the atmosphere through our body language, tone of voice, and subtle patterns of response.

There is no hiding anything from God.
“Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.
Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.”
— Hebrews 4:13

When the horses are free to do so, they dance with us between these two worlds — the seen and the unseen — through their simple choices to come close or walk away.

They mirror the perspectives we carry — both truths and lies — whether spoken aloud or not. And sometimes, without saying a word, they demonstrate a new pattern of being… by simply acting like a horse does.

Of course, the Holy Spirit weaves in and out of all of it — gentle, honest, and full of grace. 🤍

The result is a beautifully honest reflection of your inner landscape.

When you invite the Holy Spirit and the horses into that space, you can face the Truths you wrestle with daily — not in a spiral of shame, but in a posture that draws you forward into the arms of the loving Father.

New patterns of being always begin with new patterns of thinking. Jesus came to bring new life — a life washed clean of the old so there’s room for everything to be made new, including your mind.

They say you can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink…

But when Jesus leads you to the Living Water, you can’t help but drink. 💧🐴

🌾 When the Horses Revealed Spiritual Warfare 🕊️
The youngsters toddled into the round pen after the session ended. One immediately rolled — not unusual, since they love the feel of the sand exfoliating their skin. The other ambled the perimeter, stretching his neck to snag every little stem of grass he could reach beneath the panels.

It was quiet — that familiar post-session lull that lingers when client time with the horses has closed.

Then, as casually as they had entered, the two youthful geldings suddenly turned toward the center of the arena and launched upward — balancing on their hind legs, front hooves striking midair.

It ended as quickly as it began. Both walked away, calm and silent. “What the heck was that, Lord?” I asked.

The previous sessions had been gentle — subtle revelations in partnership with the Holy Spirit. But no sooner had I asked the question than the Lord answered:

“This is a picture of spiritual warfare.”

Beyond the quiet, nagging patterns of doubt and fear, a war rages — and the battlefield is the mind.

Both clients that day wrestled with thoughts of inadequacy, racing loops of doing more, and deep burnout from already doing too much.

In that flash of flying hooves, the Lord showed me the territory the enemy wants most — and how he claims it one lie at a time.

Our minds are unlike any of God’s other creations. We can think, create, innovate, and build... but we can also doubt, deny, and override. Most dangerously, our minds can override our God-given instincts. Instincts that are designed for safety.

The mind, specifically, seeks emotional safety. But in a fallen world, emotional safety often gets attached to things it was never meant to — others’ expectations, old patterns, limiting beliefs, worn-out ways of thinking. No wonder this is the territory the enemy targets!

Where does he prowl? Around the illusion of emotional safety that’s tied to temporary things. And what better weapon than the “I’m not enough” gr***de — the same lie culture throws at us in every ad, every scroll, every whisper:
“You’re not enough… but if you buy this, you will be.”

Yet standing there with the horses, not once did they ask,
“What do you do?” or “How successful are you?”

They simply asked: “Who are you?” and “How are you being right now?”

The enemy knows one small lie can send you into a tail spin- your mind quickly picking up the lie like reins and then promptly derailing your God-anointed path.

So the next time he whispers, “You’re not enough,” rise up with holy defiance — like hooves flying in the arena — and declare:

I am a child of God.
I am chosen.
I am forgiven.
I am redeemed.

And then thank him — because he just reminded you how much you need Jesus. 🤍

Emotional safety will only ever be fulfilled when you are securely attached to the love of Jesus. Then, and only then, will the emptiness become an outpouring of more than enough.

Dear loved ones, you are exactly as God desired you to be — and He doesn’t make mistakes. I pray you see what He sees when He lovingly gazes upon you. 🕊️

🌾 When the Horses Lay Down

There’s a hush that falls over the corral when a horse lays down. It’s more than rest — it’s a picture of trust. They only surrender to the ground when they feel completely safe.

The Latin word for humility is humus — meaning of the earth.

So maybe it’s not just “grounding” after all.

Maybe it’s a holy reminder to come low…

>to humble ourselves before the Lord,
>to rest in His care,
>to trust that He’s the One standing watch.

When the horses lay down, the ground becomes holy.✝️🐴

One of my favorite things about horses?

They tell the truth — and they do it boldly, without saying a single word.

They demonstrate courage and grace, reminding us to face what needs facing without judgment or offense — for the sake of safety, connection, and freedom.

No pretending. No performance. Just presence and truth.

The world quiets.
And suddenly, you realize… He’s been speaking all along.

You don’t have to call down His presence — it’s already here.
Among the horses.
In the wind.
Between the heartbeats of stillness.

🌿 Confident Expectation 🌿

The world defines hope as a feeling — a subjective anticipation about the future.

But eternal hope? That’s different. It’s not a feeling; it’s a firm, unshakable confidence in the promises of God.

So what can we truly have confidence in?
👉 His promises.
And what does He promise above all else?
✨ His presence.

His constant, enduring, loving, and forgiving presence.
He’s there in our celebrations — and even more so in our tribulations.

Scripture doesn’t say if we walk through valleys — it says when.

But that promise is always paired with another:
“I will be with you.”
>> Matthew 28:20
>> Deuteronomy 31:6
>> Genesis 28:15
>> Joshua 1:5
>> Isaiah 43:2

That’s where our hope rests — not in circumstances, not in wishful thinking, but in the steadfast truth that the living, breathing God of the universe walks beside us.

Nothing surprises Him. Nothing catches Him off guard.

He is in control — and that, my friend, is how we walk in confident expectation through the turmoil of our days.

I pray HOPE over your day, today!
