Are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Christian?

Absolutely. ❤️

As members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. He is at the center of our faith, our worship, and our daily lives.

We strive to follow His example of love, compassion, service, forgiveness, and hope. Through His life, sacrifice, and resurrection, we believe He saves us from sin, suffering, and death.

While some of our beliefs are unique, our love for Jesus Christ is deep and sincere. We are grateful for Him and for the peace and joy He brings to our lives. ✨

No matter where you’ve been or what your story looks like today, Christ makes change possible.

A little stronger.
A little kinder.
A little closer to who He knows we can become.

Because of Him, no chapter has to be the final chapter.

When we ask, seek, and keep knocking, the Lord shows up. Sometimes not in the way we expect, but always in the way we need.

Grateful for a God who listens, guides, and opens doors—one step at a time.

First Presidency Easter Message:

As Mary Magdalene and her companions mournfully approached the Garden Tomb, two angels appeared to them and shared the clarion call of all Christianity:

“Why seek ye the living among the dead?

“He is not here, but is risen” (Luke 24:5–6).

This Easter season we also joyfully testify of this same eternal truth—Jesus Christ is risen. He lives! The Savior of the world was crucified and, on the third day, rose from the dead, “the firstfruits of them that slept” (1 Corinthians 15:20). His Resurrection allows all to be resurrected, and through His grace, we can find peace “which passeth all understanding” (Philippians 4:7) and “be perfected in him” (Moroni 10:32).

We invite each of you during this Easter season to “seek this Jesus of whom the prophets and apostles have written” (Ether 12:41). As you do so, we testify that your Easter celebrations can strengthen your own faith and testimony that “death is conquered; man is free. Christ has won the victory” (“He Is Risen!,” Hymns, no. 199).

Lent begins this week for many of our Christian friends—a season of reflection, sacrifice, and preparation for Easter. While we don’t formally observe Lent, the spirit of it can help all of us prepare our hearts more intentionally for the Savior.

What could we “give away” for the next few weeks that might bring us closer to Christ? Maybe less distraction and more prayer. Less scrolling and more scripture. A little more kindness. A little more repentance. A little more gratitude.

As we look toward Easter, we invite you to join us in worshiping Jesus Christ and celebrating the hope of His Resurrection. If you’re searching for peace, renewal, and a Christ-centered community this season, we would truly love to welcome you.

“By focusing our attention on Jesus Christ, all else around us—while still present—is viewed through our love for Him. Less important distractions fade, and we remove those things that are not in keeping with His light and character. As you continue to attentively catch hold of this thought of Jesus Christ, trust in Him, and keep His commandments, I promise you not only heavenly guidance but heavenly power—power that brings strength to your covenants, peace to your difficulties, and joy to your blessings” (Neil L. Andersen).

What distractions might be keeping your focus from Christ?
