Sunday Worship Schedule
(2 Worship Opportunities to Choose From)

Joyful Traditional Worship
9:00 a.m. A time-honored worship service with a variety of hymns from the United Methodist Hymnal, preaching from the pulpit, exceptional musical accompaniment with the pipe organ, and the use of time-honored, biblical-sound liturgies to aid in worship as well as our weekly "Mystery Bag". The service is h

eld in our beautiful traditional sanctuary with handcarved oak throughout and large, beautiful stain glass windows. Come as you are to this 45-50 minute piano-led service that features new arrangements of traditional hymns and praise and worship songs. Our Celebration Singers lead us in the songs, we have the "Mystery Bag", Pastor Roger sheds the robe and tie, people come in casual attire and we share with one another as we worship God through Jesus Christ in a laid-back style. Sunday School Classes meet at 10:10 a.m. - 11:10 a.m. We welcome your presence and encourage your participation in these small-group experiences of Christian growth and caring relationships. If you don't find a group that seems to be what you are looking for, please call our Christian Education Coordinator (Amanda Gibson) at the church office - 258-0119. We also have a week-long Vacation Bible School for children in the summer. We offer numerous short-term studies throughout the year. Contact Neil Peck (Older Adult Ministry Coordinator) for more information or go to our website (siouxcityfirst.com) and read the latest newsletter.
