🌿☀️ THIS SUNDAY AT ST. PAUL'S ☀️🌿

📅 Sunday, June 14, 2026
⛪ Worship Service: 11:30 a.m.
📍 524 Center Street, Sioux City, Iowa

We have two exciting opportunities taking place this Sunday, and we hope you'll stick around and be part of the conversation!

🌿 During announcements, Sue Erickson from St. Thomas Episcopal Church will be visiting St. Paul's to share information about an upcoming Diocesan Retreat Opportunity.

This will be a chance to learn more, ask questions, and discuss what participation could look like for St. Paul's.

A diocesan retreat brings together church members, leaders, clergy, youth, and congregations for prayer, fellowship, learning, reflection, and spiritual renewal.

🗳 Following worship, St. Paul's will hold an election- "To Fill One Open Bishop Committee Seat"....

Now, before anyone says, "Oh, that's not for me," hear me out. 😊

The future of St. Paul's belongs to all of us.

The Bishop Committee helps guide the mission, ministry, and direction of our church. It isn't about having all the answers. It's about showing up, caring about St. Paul's, and being willing to help carry the work forward.

If you've ever said:
💛 "I wish I could help."
💛 "I want to see St. Paul's succeed."
💛 "I care about our church."

Then maybe God is nudging your heart a little more than you realize.

We encourage everyone to stay after church, learn more, ask questions, and take part in shaping the future of St. Paul's Episcopal Indian Mission Church.

Together, we have come through a lot.

Together, we are building something stronger.

And together, we are looking ahead with hope.

❤️ We hope to see you Sunday!

✨ ST. PAUL'S RESTORATION PROJECT ✨

As many of you know, St. Paul's Episcopal Indian Mission Church has faced many challenges over the years. By the end of 2025, we were facing some very difficult questions about the future of our building and what came next for our church family.

Today, we are grateful to share that, through the award of a Restoration Grant, St. Paul's is able to complete many much-needed repairs and improvements throughout 2026. What once seemed uncertain has become an opportunity for renewal, restoration, and hope.

One of the largest projects currently underway is the replacement of our church roof. This work is helping preserve our historic church home and ensure that St. Paul's remains a place of worship, fellowship, ministry, cultural connection, and community for generations to come.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Diocese of Iowa for its continued support, guidance, and partnership during this season of transition and growth.

We also express our gratitude to all those whose vision, generosity, and faithful stewardship helped make the Restoration Grant possible. Because of your commitment to the future of ministry in Iowa, churches like St. Paul's are able to preserve their buildings, strengthen their mission, and continue serving their communities.

We would also like to recognize and thank Tony Crow, Owner of Siouxland Home Improvement, for his work on the roof replacement project. St. Paul's is proud to support local businesses and community members who help strengthen and improve our community.

Thank you as well to our Bishop Committee, church leadership, volunteers, and congregation members who have continued to believe in St. Paul's and support our mission through both the challenges and the victories. Your faithfulness, prayers, hard work, and dedication have helped carry this church forward.

Most of all, we give thanks to God. Time and time again, God has shown His presence in the life of St. Paul's Episcopal Indian Mission Church. Just when things seemed uncertain, doors began to open, opportunities appeared, and hope was restored.

We truly believe God is not finished with St. Paul's yet.

The future is looking brighter, and we are excited to continue this journey together.

💪 Real Men. Real Talk. Real Growth. 💪

What if there was a place where men could come together, have real conversations, support one another, and grow without judgment?

St. Paul's Episcopal Indian Mission Church is proud to partner with The Real Men's Circle by providing a welcoming space for this important program right here in Sioux City.

As far as I know, this is the only program of its kind currently being offered in Sioux City. If you are a man looking for support, accountability, brotherhood, and a place where you can have honest conversations in a respectful environment, I encourage you to check it out.

The Real Men's Circle is an outside organization sponsored through King of Kings, and St. Paul's is honored to open our doors and support their mission. They have been a great asset to both our church and our community.

I can personally say I have heard nothing but positive things about this program. My brother, my husband, and my brother-in-law are currently participating, and it has been amazing to watch them step outside their comfort zones, connect with other men, and focus on becoming the best version of themselves.

This is a closed men's group that runs in 6-week cycles. The current group is already in progress and has completed three sessions, with three more remaining. If you are interested in joining a future cycle, now is the perfect time to reach out and learn more.

At the end of each cycle, the group goes on a retreat together. It's a chance to get away, spend time with the other men in the group, reflect on what they've learned, and finish the program on a positive note.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this post and flyer. You never know what man in your life may need this opportunity.

I serve as Clerk of the Bishop's Committee at St. Paul's Episcopal Indian Mission Church and would be happy to help connect you with the program.

Together we build stronger men, stronger families, and stronger communities. ❤️🙏🏽

Let me know what else I can do to help!

Good afternoon St. Paul’s families,

I apologize for the abrupt deadline, but I wanted to share this important opportunity with you.

St. Paul’s has set aside money for our youth to attend EPIC Summer Camp this year, and there are 8 spots still available. Registration closes on June 1, 2026, so if you have a youth who may be interested, please get them registered as soon as possible.

EPIC Summer Camp will be held June 15–19 at Lutheran Lakeside Camp. It is open to youth entering 4th grade through 12th grade. Camp will include worship, engaging activities, hands-on projects, community building, and time with other youth on a faith journey.

We would truly love to see some of our St. Paul’s youth attend this year. This is a wonderful chance for our young people to grow in faith, build friendships, and be part of something positive this summer.

For more information and registration, please visit the Episcopal Diocese of Iowa website, or reach out if you have questions and we can help connect you.

“Beloved, let us love one another because love is from God…”
1 John 4:7The dates, location, and grade range match the EPIC Summer Camp flyer you uploaded.

Happy Easter from St. Paul’s Indian Mission Episcopal Church

Today was something truly special. We had 108 people come together, with six baptisms, and a beautiful mix of our congregation, members, and outside community showing up in support of St. Paul’s Indian Mission.

“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” – Matthew 28:6

This Easter felt like more than a celebration—it felt like a resurrection of St. Paul’s itself. You could feel it… unity, healing, and something new beginning.

Thank you to Reverend Bentiz and to every single person who showed up and stood with us today. It truly meant everything.
