A message from Pastor LaTayna Purnell: On Sunday, October 25 at 2:00 PM, I will be installed as Associate Minister for Care and Community at Christ Congregational Church, UCC. The Potomac Association, CCC, clergy, friends, family, and the wider church will gather for this sacred moment of covenant, call, and shared ministry.

We will gather in person at Silver Spring United Methodist Church in Silver Spring, Maryland. For those who cannot be with us in person, we will also livestream the service on the Silver Spring UMC YouTube page.

This moment is about so much more than me. It is about the communities that have loved me, formed me, challenged me, prayed for me, and walked with me along the way. I would be deeply honored to have you join us—whether in the sanctuary or online—as we give thanks for this new season of ministry and the covenant that binds pastor, congregation, association, and the wider church together.
