The Shrove Tuesday Pancake & Sausage Supper is a long-standing tradition at Colesville United Methodist Church, marking the day before Lent begins. It’s a time to come together, enjoy good food, and prepare our hearts for the Lenten season ahead. Colesville United Methodist Church hosted its Third Annual Interfaith Christmas concert featuring the choirs of Colesville UMC and the Silver Spring Ward of the Church of Latter Day Saints. Under the direction of Colesville's Music Director, Curtis Richardson, and Emily Ricks, LDS music director, the choirs rendered a selection of Christmas Season classics. Additional music was presented by the Colesville Ringers, our bell choir, and the Interfaith Violin Ensemble with Edmond Charles, Jonah Mays, and Saralyn Mays accompanying the choirs on piano, organ and flute. The audience joined in to sing several Christmas favorites before giving the choirs a thunderous applause.
