We have moved twice and grown in numbers and in the Lord's presence. The most important characteristic of F.F. is love. Visitors feel loved and accepted when they walk in the front door. We have ministries for all ages from nursery to adult. "We believe there is a place for everyone at Freedom. Our desire is to facilitate ministry to our community and show Christ's love in practical ways."

Brother Larry and Sister Joyce were a meaningful part of our Freedom family for many years, and we know so many carry special memories of their time with us.

Spiritual disciplines were never meant to become the goal.

Reading the Bible, praying, being still, studying Scripture — all of these things are good, but they are meant to lead us somewhere deeper: to Jesus.

As Pastor Billy reminded us, even the parts of following Jesus that feel difficult, boring, or uncomfortable are worth submitting to Him because this life is a calling.

We don’t read the Word just to gain knowledge.
We read it because it brings us to Jesus.

May we never become so focused on the practice that we miss the Person.

It’s easy to build our days around schedules, responsibilities, and everything demanding our attention. But what if His presence became the priority everything else was built around?

Make room to be still. Make room to listen. Make room to simply be with Jesus.

Everything else flows from there.

Freedom Classes will be canceled on Wednesday, October 21 — but we have a good reason!

Instead, we’re inviting our entire church family to join us at Silsbee High School for Fields of Faith at 7:00 PM.

We are believing and expecting God to move in a powerful way, and we want to stand with and support our community as students, families, and churches gather together.

Make plans to come be part of it with us!

On Columbus Day, we look back at a moment in history that helped shape the story of exploration in the Americas.

History reminds us that people have always been searching — for new lands, new opportunities, and what lies beyond the horizon.

But as believers, there is an even greater pursuit before us:

“You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart.” — Jeremiah 29:13

May we be people who never stop seeking the Lord — His presence, His truth, and His direction for our lives.

Today, we’re thankful for the freedoms we enjoy, mindful of the history that brought us here, and most of all grateful for the freedom we have in Christ.
