Shiner Baptist Church Traditional Southern Baptist Church all about following God's call to lead our family, friends and neighbors to joyful faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord

Our Purpose is to

Worship God: The glory and honor of God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is the ultimate reason for everything we do. Nurture Faith: We want to nurture the faith of every believer in Christ so that they will grow to be strong and mature in the faith and godliness. Witness to the World for Jesus Christ: We believe that only in Jesus is life and salvation. We desire to share His Gospel (Good News) with every person we encounter, because the gospel has the power to save and God has commanded that it be preached to every person in every nation until Jesus returns. If you live in the Shiner area, we invite you to worship with us. Join us as we serve in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ and spread the Good News of His Grace.

🐱😹 HAPPY NATIONAL CAT DAY! 😹🐾

Today we celebrate our furry friends who remind us that naps are important, treats are a blessing, and apparently… we humans are just here to open cans! 😂

Even cats know how to find a sunny spot and enjoy God’s creation! ☀️🐈

📖 “The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof…” — Psalm 24:1

Whether you’re a cat person, a dog person, or just a person who loves God’s creatures, take a moment today to thank the Lord for the joy He brings into our lives! ❤️

And remember: God loves you even when you knock things off the table! 😹🙏

🌅 MONDAY MOTIVATION: NEW WEEK, NEW MERCIES! 🙏

A new week means a fresh opportunity to trust God, share His love, and make a difference! Don’t let yesterday’s worries steal today’s blessings. Give God your plans, your problems, and your priorities, and let Him lead the way. 💪❤️

Remember, you don’t have to have the whole week figured out—you just need to trust the One who holds it all!

📖 Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV)
“It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

🙏 Monday Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of a new week! Guide our steps, strengthen our faith, and help us be a blessing to everyone we meet. When challenges come, remind us that You are with us. Help us live with purpose, love with compassion, and serve You with joyful hearts. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

☀️ Go into this week with faith, not fear; with gratitude, not grumbling; and with Jesus leading the way!

Have a blessed Week!! ✝️💛
