Psalms of Praise 23

Psalms of Praise 23 The purpose of this page is to get as much information out to as many as possible.

We will strive to answer any and all spiritual questions, questions about scriptures, take prayer request, and enlighten others about Jesus Christ. We will not debate any scripture if you disagree with me then simply message me so as not to confuse others. I hope and pray that this site will be a blessing and encouragement to others.

"Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers." (Ephesians 4:29) We are all guilty at times of being critical of others. We say things that are not uplifting and, in some cases, actually tear down the person we are talking about. As Christians we should strive to build others up, not tear down.

Call now to connect with business.

Revelation 1:8 ESV
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
We change, our friends change, the world changes, circumstances change, but God never changes.

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me." (Gal 2:20) An open and deliberate decision to not live according to your old life and consciously to allow Christ to live out His life in you is a special and necessary part of deliverance from your old sin nature. When we let Jesus in, we keep sin out. If we let Him live in us Satan has no room to come in.

"The lazy man is wiser in his own eyes than seven men who can answer sensibly. He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears. Like a madman who throws firebrands, arrows, and death, is the man who deceives his neighbor and says, 'I was only joking!' Where there is no wood the fire goes out; and where there is no talebearer, strife ceases." (Proverbs 26:16-20)
Solomon warned: beware of negative people. The fool, the lazy and the gossip bring nothing but damage to your life. When you have someone that is pulling you down, then try to lift them up. If you find that they will not change, then you should detach yourself from them. Do not be loyal to negativity.

Matthew 11:28-30 ESV
Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Stop complaining like the Israelite's did after leaving Egypt, instead lift up your eyes and sing praises to the Lord. The more you complain the less you will have, regarding comfort and peace in your life. Give your problems over to the Lord, He alone can solve them.

"For while there is jealousy and strife among you,
are you not of the flesh and behaving only in a human way?"
(1 Corinthians 3:3 ESV)
Jealousy: is an emotion referring to insecurity, fear, concern and anxiety over an anticipated loss. We do not want anyone to have the same things that we have, or to get more attention than us. We want people to notice us before they notice someone else. We wear flashy jewelry, fancy clothes, drive fast cars, live in large modern homes. We have become very materialistic. We want what we want when we want it. We do not want to wait for anything. It is time that we got back to basics. God first, family second, work and friends next. No where in this does it say that we, ourselves come first. That was started by some people that had a poor self-image and wanted to make it a point that they were important. We are all special to God, what more do we need?

Joshua 1:8 "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success."
There is a story about a man that was faithful in going to church every Sunday. His bible looked worn and tattered. However, upon his death the Bible was found to not have been read. It does you no good unless you open it and study.

The old saying “God helps those who helps themselves” while many believe comes from a reference in the Bible actually comes from an old Greek fable called “Hercules and the Wagoneer” written by Aesop. The basic of the fable was that a man had gotten his cart stuck in the mud and when He knelt down to pray Hercules appeared and told him to get up and put his shoulder to the wheel. It ended with the moral being the famous saying “The God’s help those who help themselves”.
Jeramiah 17:5 (NIV) This is what the LORD says: "Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who depends on flesh for his strength and whose heart turns away from the LORD."
Proverbs 28:26 (NIV) He who trusts in himself is a fool...
I am not saying that one should not be diligent and work. After all, there is also a scripture that says, "A man that does not work does not eat."

"Prophecy came not in old time by the will of man, but holy men of God spake, as they were moved by the Holy Ghost." (II Peter 1:21) Who, but God knows the end from the beginning? But, God does know! Yes, He knows every thought that you have ever had, every deed that you have ever done, and every thought that you will ever have; and every action that you will ever do! For God is Omniscient, Omnipotent, Eternal, Infinite, and Omnipresent! God is everything to everything.

"This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works, these things are good and profitable to men." (Titus 3:8) You cannot believe in God and Jesus without doing good works for them. Leading others to Christ kingdom require some work from us.
