"Hi, My name is Deb and I’m a grateful child of God who struggles with understanding my identity in Christ. This is evident in my relationship with food and body image. My CR family (and the step study) has guided me through the discovery of the origins of my hangups (allowing the lies of this world to compete with God’s truth) and, with the support of this family, I am embracing new Truths regularly. I have the privilege of being on the leadership team which blesses me in at least two ways: I get to be a part of making CR available to others, including building a welcoming environment that leads to deepening relationships, and it holds me accountable on those Mondays when I think I don’t have any energy left to leave the house again, but once we start worshipping, I’m glad I didn’t back out :-)
CR provides the necessary reminder to take my focus off my issues, refocus on God, and trust Him to take me through the issues, not just as a survivor but as someone who is victorious through the power of Jesus!"

"My name is Vince; I am a greatful believer in Jesus. I struggle with alcoholism.
I like CR because it holds me accountable to myself. I keep coming back because if I didn't I would go back to drinking - I need the support of my forever family. One of the things I enjoy about being a leader is seeing the growth of people who keep coming back on a week to week basis. One aspect of CR that has been specifically helpful for me is the step study. It helped me take a deeper dive into why I respond to certain situations in my life.
I have found freedom in recovery by spending more time with my family and having a sharper mind. I have been able to surrender my issues to Jesus because I know that because of him I don't have to be a slave to my past."

"My name is Charity and I am a blessed child of God! With God's help I am working on my codependency and anger. I have been attending CR for over 3 years and keep coming back because of the network or support that I have made here.
I am one of the women's leaders at CR and have led/co-led several step studies. Through Monday night meetings and step studies I have received freedom from resentments and healing from my past. Knowing that I don't travel this road alone has been a great help in healing from past trauma and dealing with my hurts, hangups and habits.
If you have a chance, join us on a Monday night and hear from us how freedom from the past and real change for the future can happen."

"Hi, my name is Paul, and I'm a grateful believer in Jesus Christ. I've had issues with alcohol and po*******hy. I serve the CR community by being your ministry leader.
I look forward to Celebrate Recovery every week to see the progress in our regular attendees, as well as our small group members. I'm excited to meet the newcomers who want to check us out and find freedom from their hurts, hang ups, and habits!"
