A Journey Church volunteer faced a language barrier while serving a family. What followed was a prayer, a hug, and another Journey attender saying, “Next time, let me come along. I can help with the language barrier.”

Our hope is to serve 5 households a month with our Compassion Closet. 🫶🏽 We partner with Love INC to help meet some key needs felt by our local community neighbors. Volunteers from within our church put together the orders and personally deliver them.

🧡SUNDAY, AUGUST 30th & 🧡SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6th, Journey Church is doing a collection drive of household essentials (i.e. toiletries and linens) to adequately stock the Compassion Closet with the goal of helping 20 households between now and Christmas.

Red Berry Barn Outdoor Service was a beautiful evening together tasting and seeing that the Lord is good! 🌅

It was a joy to celebrate the beauty of baptism, creation, Proverbs 3:5-6, and a summer night together as a church family (with some “Footloose” dancing thrown in!).💃🏽
