Last Sunday, our church family had the profound privilege of hearing the testimony of two youth from our congregation as they were baptized. Their sincere words displayed the goodness of God. What an absolute joy to celebrate with them the beautiful act of baptism as they publicly declared their faith in Jesus! 🌊🩵

Life is worth the living just because He lives.✨

He is Risen! Easter Sunday was a joyful day celebrating Jesus’ Resurrection together! The Water Oasis and sunshine were a beautiful backdrop to collectively thank God for making the sad things untrue—reversing sin and death, and redeeming us with His love.

There was even an unplanned flyover to put an exclamation point on it.✈️😅

We are so grateful for the many volunteers that served! Big thanks to Michael Bunday for capturing these beautiful moments of our church family giving gratitude to God with our voices, hearts, and hands.

He is Risen Indeed! 🌅

Jesus gave thanks before his hardest day.
He lifted the cup and the bread as he had his last meal with his friends, and offered gratitude to God as he headed into his betrayal, suffering, and crucifixion.

On Good Friday, we start with sincere thanks to God.
We sit with the weight of gratitude, knowing we could never repay the Lord for what he’s done for us.

“Eucharist” - the word for Communion, comes from the Greek word for “thanksgiving” and is a combination of two words: “grace” and “joy.”

As we honor Jesus’ death this Good Friday, we give space for tender gratitude to grow from a deep awareness of God‘s grace in our lives, and the joy of knowing nothing can separate us from the heart of God.

Join us this evening at 6:30 PM as we reflect, remember, and take Communion together to say thank you to Jesus.

Jesus washed his friends’ feet as he headed into the hardest day of his life.

Maundy Thursday is the day of Holy Week where we remember the command (mandate = “maundy” in Latin) that Jesus gave his followers as he humbly washed their feet: “A new command I give you: love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

-Jesus’ words in John 13:34-35

Holy Week begins this Sunday, March 29th, with Palm Sunday!🌿Holy Week has been observed by followers of Jesus for over 1,600 years and during this sacred week, we walk with Jesus through his entry into Jerusalem, through his suffering, crucifixion, burial, and ultimately, his resurrection. This week invites us to be unhurried and carefully take in Jesus’ words, actions, mindset, and emotions.

“Gethsemane, Golgotha, and the Garden tomb are engulfed by the Good News of Easter Sunday…The incomparable story of Christ’s agony, abandonment, and eventual resurrection–that story–remains the greatest hope for a hurting world.”

-Quote by Pete Greig, author of God on Mute: Engaging the Silence of Unanswered Prayer
