Queens Mission Sunday, June 14: At breakfast this morning, Pastor Thomas challenged us with this verse as we walked (8 1/2 miles) around the city and neighborhoods praying for and engaging with the people here. We also took time to really observe how they live. The weather was beautiful with a nice breeze. We attended worship service this morning at Queens Church and met up with our summer interns who guided us around the city.

We had a great pool party tonight with the kids - 25 kids and 17 adults! Fun was had by all!

Our VBS kids led us this morning with two of the songs they learned this week: “Illumination Station,” the theme song and “Perfect.”

Celebrating Mrs. Fara Newkirk on her final Sunday of almost 26 years as Director of Children’s Ministries at FBC Sheridan. She has faithfully led our children to know Jesus and has discipled them to follow Him. Congratulations Fara!
