The Church in Dialogue will address unity & division among the followers of Christ tomorrow at 7 p.m. at Mercy Hill Church. Come hear Adam Carrico discuss the topic from a Roman Catholic perspective.

We are very pleased to introduce Fr. Adam Carrico as the Roman Catholic panelist who will be participating in the forthcoming dialogue on May 22nd! He will be speaking on unity and division among the followers of Christ with Pr. Perry Cooke (Mercy Hill Church) and Pr. Joshua Watkins (Okolona Church of Christ). Pr. Phil Walton of Mount Washington First Assembly of God will give an opening presentation at the event. Mark your calendars! You won't want to miss this event in Shepherdsville!

Fr. Adam Carrico was born and raised in Pewee Valley, in Oldham County, Kentucky. He attended Saint Aloysius grade school, and that is where he first encountered holy and faithful priests. Over the years, these priestly examples helped fuel his early vocational discernment. He graduated from Saint Xavier High School in 2001 and from the University of Louisville in 2006 with a bachelor’s degree in history. Priestly discernment became more intentional at this time, and this led to his entry at Saint Meinrad Seminary in 2008 as a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Louisville. He went on to graduate from Saint Meinrad with a master’s degree in Catholic Philosophical Studies in 2011 and a master’s in divinity in 2015. Soon after, on December 19, 2015, he received ordination, and, by God’s grace, he remains committed to ministry, recently having celebrated 10 years as a priest.
