Join us on Sunday, June 28th at 10:30am in Shelton for a combined worship service with Wood River! We will be celebrating Congo's Independence Day! Pastor Rachel will entertain us with the culture traditions and give us insight of her growing up in Congo! Following worship Pastor Rachel will have some tradition Congo dishes for us to sample. Along with the samples Shelton is going to be hosting a luncheon for our Shelton and Wood River families. Bring your favorite casserole dish and a side dish, salad or dessert. This is ONE you are not going to want to MISS!

Then be sure to join us the following Sunday, July 5th at 10:30am in Wood River as we celebrate the 250th year of USA Independence Day! The service will also be a HUGE celebration with a luncheon to follow that Wood River is hosting for Shelton and Wood River families. This is also ONE you are not going to want to MISS!

Join Molly once again this summer for "Storytime in the Park". Starting Wednesday June 10th thru July 29th. It will be every Wednesday at 9:00am at the Lion's Club Pavilion. Elementary children come join for a story and craft time!

Miracle Sunday, taking place on May 17, 2026, is a worldwide United Methodist one-time offering aimed at endowing scholarships for 500 pastoral students in Africa, Europe, and the Philippines, bridging the theological education gap. The Goal: To secure long-term, permanent funding for theological education in Africa, Europe, and the Philippines, where over 95% of pastors often lack formal master's level training. The offering supports the Endowment for Theological Education, established by the UMC Council of Bishops in 2014.
