In a world that often rushes past strangers, Scripture invites us to slow down, welcome others, and love without hesitation.

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it." β€” Hebrews 13:2

Hospitality isn't just about opening our homes, it's about opening our hearts.

A smile.
A listening ear.
A seat at the table.
A warm welcome.

You never know how God might work through a simple act of kindness.

Who can you welcome with Christ's love today?

God invites us to notice the beauty of creation, not just to admire it, but to remember the One who made it.

As you go through this week, take a moment to slow down and delight in the world around you. Sometimes the simplest moments outdoors become the places where we hear God's voice most clearly.

Creation is an invitation to joy.

The psalmist invites God's people to sing, celebrate, and rejoice together.

"Let them praise His name with dancing and make music to Him with tambourine and harp." β€” Psalm 149:3

Worship isn't just something we do, it is a joyful response to who God is and all that God has done.

Whether through singing, laughter, serving, or simply delighting in God's creation, every act of joy can become an act of praise.

Today, let your life reflect the joy of the One who delights in you.

"For the Lord takes delight in His people." β€” Psalm 149:4

How will you celebrate God's goodness today?

πŸŽ’ Backpack Sunday is Almost Here! πŸ“šβœοΈ

A new school year is just around the corner, and we'd love to begin it by covering our students, teachers, and school staff in prayer.

Join us on Sunday, August 16 for our annual Blessing of the Backpacks. Bring your backpack (or simply come as you are!) as we ask God to grant wisdom, courage, protection, and peace for the year ahead.

Whether you're heading to preschool, elementary school, high school, college, or returning to the classroom as an educator, this special blessing is for you.

The sun and moon.
The stars in the sky.
Mountains and hills.
Fruit trees and cedars.
Wild animals and birds.

Psalm 148 reminds us that all creation joins in worship, not because it has to, but because it simply reflects the glory of its Creator.

When we slow down to notice the beauty around us, we're invited to join that song of praise.

Today, step outside. Listen. Look. Wonder.

The world around you is already pointing to God.

"Let them praise the name of the Lord, for at His command they were created." β€” Psalm 148:5

Where have you seen God's glory in creation this week?

The early church didn't just gather for worship, they shared meals, encouraged one another, and celebrated God's goodness together.

"They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God..." β€” Acts 2:46–47

Sometimes the most sacred moments happen around a table, on a picnic blanket, during a conversation, or in the laughter shared with friends.

God created us to belong, to celebrate, and to grow together.

This week, make time to gather with someone. Share a meal. Offer encouragement. Laugh a little more.

Joy is one of God's greatest gifts, and it's even better when it's shared.

At a wedding in Cana, when the wine ran out, Jesus transformed ordinary water into the finest wine, not just meeting a need, but preserving joy.

Sometimes we think God is only interested in our struggles. But this story reminds us that God also delights in celebration, community, and abundant life.

Jesus doesn't simply rescue moments; He transforms them.

This week, look for the ordinary places where God might be doing something extraordinary.

"Jesus did this, the first of His signs... and revealed His glory." β€” John 2:11

Where have you experienced God's unexpected abundance?
