Hebrews 11 is often called the “Faith Chapter” because it reminds us of ordinary people who chose to trust an extraordinary God. From Noah building an ark before the rain ever came, to Abraham leaving everything familiar because God told him to go, these men and women stepped forward by faith.
Faith doesn’t mean we understand everything God is doing. It means we trust the One who does. These people faced uncertainty, rejection, battles, waiting, and suffering, yet they continued to believe that God was faithful.

Hebrews 11:1 reminds us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”
Sometimes God will ask us to take a step before we can see where the path leads. Sometimes we have to keep praying when we don't see an answer, keep believing when circumstances look impossible, and keep walking when the road is difficult.

The people in Hebrews 11 weren’t perfect. What made them examples of faith was that they believed God and acted on that belief.

Ask yourself:
Am I trusting God only when I can see the outcome, or am I willing to trust Him even when I cannot?

Whatever you are facing today, remember this: God is still faithful. You may not see what He is doing, but you can trust who He is.

Keep believing. Keep praying. Keep walking.
Faith doesn't require you to see the whole path—it requires you to trust the One who is leading you.

❤️ THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SERVES! ❤️
We want to take a moment to say a HUGE thank you to every single person who serves at our church! From those who love and pour into our kids, Sunday School teachers, ministry leaders, Celebrate Recovery leaders, greeters and door keepers, those who prepare meals, clean the church, and serve behind the scenes—you are all making a difference! We are incredibly thankful for our awesome group of elders who faithfully oversee and shepherd our church, and for every person who gives their time, talents, energy, and heart to make our church what it is. Every job matters. Every person matters. Every act of service matters. What happens inside these walls is possible because so many people are willing to serve. We love and appreciate each one of you more than you know! ❤️ Thank you for serving the Lord and His people so faithfully!

As we prepare to gather for church on Sunday, we should remember that Sunday morning is not simply a time to show up, sing a few songs, and listen to a sermon. It is an opportunity to meet with God. But just as we prepare our bodies to go somewhere, we must also prepare our hearts to receive what God wants to do.

In Acts 2, Peter stood up and preached the message of Jesus to a crowd of people. Peter had been filled with the Holy Spirit, and he was expectant. He believed that God was going to move. He didn't stand up to simply give a speech—he stood up expecting lives to be changed.

And God did move.

Acts 2:41 says, “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.”

Imagine that! About 3,000 people gave their lives to the Lord because Peter was willing to stand and preach the truth, and because the people were ready to hear and receive it.

What if we came to church this Sunday with that same expectancy?

What if, instead of coming distracted, discouraged, tired, or simply going through the motions, we began preparing our hearts before we ever walked through the doors?

Pray for the pastor. Pray over the sermon. Ask God to remove distractions. Read your Bible. Repent of anything that is weighing down your heart. Come hungry for the Word of God. And most importantly, come expecting God to move.

You may not know who will walk through the church doors on Sunday. Someone may come hurting. Someone may come searching. Someone may be one encounter with Jesus away from surrendering their life to Him.

Peter's expectancy was met with God's power, and thousands were saved.

So as you prepare for Sunday, don't just prepare to attend church.

Prepare your heart to encounter God. Come expecting. Come believing. Come ready.

Who knows what God might do when a church full of people comes together with hearts that are prepared and expectant!

See you all tomorrow -
Pastor Jason

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 1:4

Monday night is adult Bible study.

A few weeks ago, these two girls had a whole presentation for Jessica on why they would like to have and lead (adult supervision) a children’s Bible study on Mondays also. They even brought a briefcase to the meeting! They pleaded their case and won the trial! 😂

Week 2 of children’s Bible study and they are having a ball and doing awesome!

If you have a child that would love to come join them, come on! Every Monday at 6:00pm ❤️

Hannah knew what it was like to carry a deep desire that others could not fully understand. She prayed, wept, and poured her heart out before the Lord. Yet even in her pain, Hannah continued to seek God.

“For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him.” — 1 Samuel 1:27

Hannah’s story reminds us that God hears the prayers we pray through tears. He sees the desires we carry in our hearts, even when the answer does not come right away. We may not understand the timing, but we can trust the One who does.

Whatever you are praying for today, don’t give up. Keep bringing it to the Father. Keep trusting Him. Your prayers are not falling on deaf ears. God hears you, God sees you, and His timing is always perfect.

🙌 Today was a GREAT day 🙌

A HUGE shoutout to our stylists that gave up their Saturday, dishing out over 60 free haircuts today!

And a HUGE thank you to everyone behind the scenes that cooked, swept hair, made cookies, took photos and fellowshipped with everyone that walked in. THIS is what the church body is about! Being the hands and feet of Jesus ❤️
