THIS IS NOT PERVASIVE
Don’t Let One Problem Become Your Whole World

Last week we learned that this is not permanent, your current season is not your final story. This week, we will take the next step: this is not pervasive, one problem does not have to become your whole world.

When a problem begins to affect everything, hold on to hope. Let your faith flip the script and make room for God’s presence to fill you. Let God’s hope permeate every area of your life, breaking the lies that have stolen your hope and leading you to walk in His will, His promises, and His purpose for your life.

No matter what you’re facing today, remember: the Lord has greater things ahead for you. So don’t give up, don’t lose heart, and don’t let go. HOLD ON TO HOPE!

Don't Turn a Season into a Sentence

What if what you're going through isn't where you're going? Join us as we begin our new series HOLD ON TO HOPE with “This Is Not Permanent.” When life hurts, it's easy to believe, “This is how it's always going to be.” But God's Word reminds us that a season is not a sentence, the night is not the end, and your present circumstances don't have to be your final destination.

Come be reminded that the God of Hope is still writing your story, and He has a good future for you! Hold on to hope. Your story isn't over.

My Weapon Is My Melody
August 9, 2026

“Let the high praises of God be in their mouths and a two-edged sword in their hands.” —Psalm 149:6

That is the posture of God’s people in the fight.

Acts 16 shows the Apostle Paul and Silas lived it. Beaten, locked in the inner prison, feet fastened in stocks, they did not argue with the magistrates or try to overpower the system that put them there. At midnight they prayed and sang hymns to God!

Behind their imprisonment stood a demonic spirit, economic greed, civic authority, and the physical chains of Rome itself. In that dark place their song became the point of conflict. High praises rose in the face of every power arrayed against them.

Then God entered the battle.
An earthquake shook the foundations. Doors flew open. Every chain fell off. The jailer and his household came to faith. Their melody was their weapon. The battle belonged to the Lord.

This Sunday in God’s word, we remember worship not as background music, but as the way we enter the fight—and watch God win it.
