Well, I could not fall back sleep at 3am, which seems to be when God speaks to my heart. So, God put the next chapter on my Journey into writing, and so I am sharing with you. Take a look, this one has some action steps that Fathers can take in the lives of their children!

This was a fun project with my wife and I yesterday. We got our wedding clothes on (from 11 years ago) and got a few shots for this image. A marriage is not with our own personal rainstorms, but there is something beautiful about the unity of two people doing life together. Also, the Bible over and over calls for us as Christians to be united together, and through that unity God can do His greatest works.

I never really thought of it that way, but totally true!

I promise it’s a lot more enjoyable and cheaper when you work, maintain and nurture your marriage when you’re getting along!

One of my top 5 biggest pet peeves with helping couples is when they wait too long to get help for their marriage. DON’T DO IT!!!!! It will be so emotional, so expensive, so overwhelming and you’ll spend years repairing the disconnection and damage.

If you want help- check out our membership! If it’s not with us- great! But go do something! Be proactive….you won’t regret it!

High school chemistry taught me a very valuable lesson: When certain substances come into close contact, they can form a chemical reaction. I proved that one day during my senior year of high school when I dropped a small jar full of pure sodium off a bridge into a river. The resulting chemical reaction of sodium and water created an underwater slight explosion and rattled the bridge!

What I’ve learned since then is that many people don’t respect the laws of chemistry any more than I did as a teenager. They mix volatile ingredients without giving much thought to the consequences. I’ve discovered that many married people don’t understand how easily a chemical reaction can occur with someone other than their spouse.

Don’t misunderstand me—I’m not just talking about s*xual attraction, although the “chemistry” can start there. I’m referring to a reaction of two hearts, the chemistry of two souls.
