To God Be the Glory!
Joel 2:28-29; Isaiah 28:11-12; Acts 2:38-39
Sometime yesterday, the Apostolic Lady’s Devotional reached another milestone: 12,000 followers! To God be the glory!
Each number represents a soul who is hungry for more of God and His Word—and is willing to spend a few minutes each weekday “breaking bread” with likeminded believers.
A special shout-out to the band of faithful readers who consistently comment, like, and share the devotionals. Because of your interaction with the page, the devotional continues to reach around the globe with the gospel and messages of encouragement — despite Facebook’s restrictive metrics. A recent readers’ favorite —"When You Don’t Feel Like Praying” — garnered over 1.3K responses on Facebook and a total of 93,123 views overall.
I’d also like to give a big shout out to all the faithful readers from these top 10 nations: United States, Philippines, Canada, Nigeria, South Africa, Kenya, Australia, India, United Kingdom, and Fiji. Thank you for your readership and encouragement to keep writing when I’ve grown weary and busy with life. Very much appreciated!
One more important announcement: Pentecost Sunday is coming soon – May 24 – and on the Thursday or Friday before, I plan to write a devotional explaining the Pentecostal experience.
I also hope to purchase “sponsored ads” to increase the reach of this special Pentecost Sunday devotional. Your engagement with the devotional will be especially meaningful — especially if you take time to share how you too have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost as promised by the prophets Joel and Isaiah (Joel 2:28-29; Isaiah 28:11-12) and preached by the apostle Peter on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:38-39).
Again, thank you for your readership and encouragement! I’m blessed to be a part of your day. Lord bless! – Anne Wilkins
