We welcome Royal Princess today to Whittier, Alaska. They docked 5 PM May 10 because the weather is awful. That’s Whittier! The mission will open at 9 AM May 11. Thanks to Al Bagley for helping today!

The Norwegian Jewel cruise ship sailed into Seward today. It was the first cruise ship in 2 years and 7 months. We had a wonderful time with the crew. The first visitor to the mission, Vin, received a free Alaska sweatshirt. He wore it all day! Many came and we enjoyed spiritual conversations. Praises to God that the 2022 Cruise season has started in Seward, Alaska.

The Blue Baie is the first foreign ship of any kind to travel into Seward since Covid began. The ship unloaded pipe for three days onto rail cars. The crew were 22 Filipinos. I was able to board the ship each day and have a wonderful time of friendship, fellowship and Bible study. The men were very eager to talk about biblical matters and the gospel. A number of them trusted in Jesus as their Savior and others were edified in their Christian walk. We shared stories and opened the Bible for many hours. I was able to go to the stores in Seward and purchase souvenirs, all of which said Seward, Alaska. The mission ladies baked cookies every day, we supplied them with fresh salmon and salmon carcasses from the fish cleaning station- 100 pounds in a cooler. They will be making salmon soup for a couple months. I searched deep into my freezer and was able to give them moose roasts, bear roasts and frozen halibut. God gave them beautiful weather to see the wonderful scenery from the ship. Needless to say, they all wanna come back to Seward again. Please pray for their safe travels to Vancouver where they unload the rest of their pipes. Glory to God in His goodness and prayers for my new brothers in Jesus Christ!
