VBS Night 1 was a huge success!

We had an amazing time singing, dancing, playing games, diving into God’s Word, and learning what it means to live out our Kingdom Quest. The energy was incredible, and we can’t wait for what’s still to come!

If your child missed the first night, there’s still time to join us. We have two nights remaining, and registration is still open at infocc.org. We’d love to see them there!

Our Dream Team is made up of people from all walks of life: teachers, nurses, retirees, IT professionals, business owners, students, and more. While their careers may be different, they all have one thing in common: a desire to use their God-given gifts to serve His Kingdom.

We believe God has gifted every person with unique talents that can be used to bring Him glory. Every Sunday, our Dream Team uses those gifts to serve our church family and help people connect with Jesus!

To every Dream Team member: thank you for your faithfulness and willingness to serve. You make a difference! And if you're not serving yet, what is stopping you? There's a place for you on the team!

Our challenge this week: humble yourself before God before He has to humble you. Through the story of King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4, we saw a powerful example of what can happen when pride takes root in our hearts. After taking credit for what only God could accomplish, Nebuchadnezzar was brought low until he recognized that God alone is sovereign over all things.

Pride will always lead us away from God, but humility positions us to receive His grace. The good news is that God doesn't leave us trapped in our pride. Just as He restored Nebuchadnezzar, He can redeem and restore us when we turn our eyes back to Him.

This week, take time to examine your heart. Lift your eyes, surrender your pride, and look to the King. When we humble ourselves before God, we make room for Him to work in ways we never could on our own.

What an incredible Sunday at Connect Church as we continued our series on pride by looking at the story of King Nebuchadnezzar in Daniel 4. We were reminded that pride will always lead us away from God, but humility positions us to experience His grace and restoration.

The message was clear: humble yourself before God, or be prepared to be humbled by Him. Nebuchadnezzar learned that kingdoms, success, power, and recognition mean nothing apart from the sovereignty of God. Only God can redeem us from the pit of our pride and restore what sin tries to destroy.

No matter where you find yourself today, lift your eyes, let go of your pride, and look to the King. He alone is worthy, and He alone can transform a heart surrendered to Him.

Today, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We are deeply grateful for the freedoms we enjoy, including the freedom to worship, and we recognize the great sacrifice that made those freedoms possible.
