Guy C. Rippy

November 16, 1957 – March 18, 2026

Guy C. Rippy, of Cosby, Tennessee, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on March 18, 2026, at the age of 68, leaving behind a legacy of faith, family, and a love for the simple things in life.

Guy was a loyal member of Voice of Victory church and was known for his deep appreciation of the outdoors and music. He found great joy in fishing and sailing, and he especially loved playing the guitar with friends and family, sharing his passion and talent with all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his life partner, Joyce Baxter; his mother, Joan Rippy; his brothers Travis and Eric Rippy; and sister, Vonny Farrell.

Guy is lovingly remembered by his family, including his son, Jake (Mallory) Rippy; his daughters, Jill Williams and Laurie Lowry; his adored grandchildren Amelia and Maverick Rippy, Eric and Katelyn Williams, Braylen, Jackson, and Kennon Lowry; and his cherished great-grandchildren.

He also leaves behind lifelong friends Mark and Mike Homburg, and Keith Willette, who will miss him dearly.

Guy will be remembered for his warm spirit, his love of music, and the meaningful connections he built with family and friends throughout his life. He had a way of lighting up every room he entered, filling it with laughter, stories, and happiness. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and treasured memories that will never fade.
