Saints Michael, Gabriel & Raphael pray for us!

Today we celebrate the Feast of the Archangels (Sept 29). What a joy to honor the three great archangels named in Scripture: Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael.

Michael (“Who is like God?”) is the warrior and protector. He leads the heavenly armies, casts down the dragon (Rev 12), and stands as our defender against the powers of darkness.

Gabriel (“God is my strength”) is the messenger of the Most High. He appears to Daniel, to Zechariah, and—most gloriously—to the Virgin Mary, announcing the Incarnation.

Raphael (“God heals”) is the companion and healer. In the Book of Tobit he guides young Tobias, drives out the demon, and restores sight to the blind—showing that God’s care reaches even the ordinary journeys of our lives.

Three names. Three missions. One Lord who commands them for our good.

Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, pray for us.

Pack Your Faith for the Journey

Summer is here, and the adventures are already being planned. Wherever the road leads your family this season, you do not travel alone. “The LORD will guard your coming and going both now and forever” (Psalm 121:8). We invite every family into the God on the Go Summer Challenge. Download your family’s God on the Go Buddy, prepare him for the trip, and bring him along from breakfast at home to the city park to Sunday Mass. Then capture the moments and share them with us. It is a simple, joyful way to remember that God walks with us through every ordinary day of summer.

Ready to begin? Download your Buddy and join families across the archdiocese on the journey: https://archsa.org/event/god-on-the-go-summer-challenge/

🌿 Have you ever felt called to share the faith with young children? 🌿

Join us for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) Level I Formation and discover a beautiful, prayerful approach to helping children encounter the love of Jesus.

CGS is much more than a classroom program—it is a ministry rooted in the Montessori method and the belief that every child has a unique relationship with God. In the Atrium, catechists serve as guides, preparing an environment where children can listen to the voice of the Good Shepherd and deepen their relationship with Him.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, teacher, catechist, or simply someone who loves sharing the Catholic faith, this formation will enrich your own spiritual life while equipping you to accompany children on their faith journey.

✨ No previous CGS experience is required.
✨ Grow in your understanding of Scripture and the liturgy.
✨ Learn how to present the faith through hands-on materials and wonder-filled reflection.
✨ Become part of a vibrant community dedicated to forming disciples of Christ.

“Help me do it myself.” — One of the foundational principles of CGS, helping children respond to God’s love with joy and freedom.
