AWANA at Rio Adventure Our Awana club will be a place of learning and excitement that will have a positive influence on your child.

We are glad that you have decided that River City Community Church is a place where your child can grow in the Lord. We are sure that our Awana club will be a place of learning and excitement that will have a positive influence on your child. The Awana program is divided into several age groups that range from PK3 (by September 1st) children through 5th grade. Awana offers several opportunities fo

r your child to grow spiritually through Scripture memorization and a basic understanding of biblical principals and doctrines. Awana also provides an opportunity for children to learn to compete as a team and not just as individuals. They will learn to win and lose with a proper attitude of fair play and sportsmanship. We ask for your support in encouraging your child to complete their handbook materials prior to each club meeting. This way we will have the time to show them how to apply what they learn to their everyday lives. We would also appreciate your timeliness in dropping off and picking up your children. Please have your children at club check-in area five (5) minutes prior to club starting time in order for them to be in place before opening ceremonies begin. Again, we thank you for the opportunity to work with and minister to your child--it is a trust and responsibility that we do not take lightly.

We are going to Summer Camp, June 8-12th, 2026 at Camp Buckner! 🌳🚙🎒

Registration opens in... 5 DAYS!!!!!!!!

This amazing experience is open to all CURRENT 2-12th graders. Current 2-4th graders will participate in our Elementary Camp and current 5th graders will go to the same camp but will join our Junior high program this summer. For ONE MONTH only, Nov 1st-30th, the exclusive camp price will be $399.

Camp is an incredible time of spiritual formation that lasts a lifetime, as well as fun and growth in community. We can't wait to host your kiddos this Summer at Camp Buckner!
