This Sunday’s message reminded us that God is not looking for perfect people — He is looking for faithful people.

Through Paul’s life, we saw that spiritual maturity doesn’t make us think more of ourselves, it makes us think more of Jesus. The closer we get to God, the more we recognize our need for His grace.

Whether you’re a dad, mom, grandparent, mentor, friend, or spiritual parent, your presence matters. People don’t need perfect Christians; they need to see transformed lives that love, serve, forgive, and keep pointing others to Jesus.

So keep showing up. Keep praying. Keep loving. Keep serving. Keep planting seeds, even when you can’t see them growing yet.

God’s power has never depended on our perfection — only on His grace. 🤍

This week we were challenged to think about the things we intentionally invest in.

We spend countless hours helping our kids learn to read, play sports, succeed in school, and prepare for their future. We know those skills don’t happen by accident—they require time, practice, encouragement, and intentional investment.

The same is true of faith.

The message reminded us that if Jesus is truly the most important person in our lives, we must be just as intentional about passing our faith to the next generation. The “Gospel Gap” begins when we assume someone else will do the work of discipleship.

The good news is that God’s answer has never been a building, a program, or a handful of leaders. His answer is ordinary people making disciples. Young or old, experienced or brand new in faith, every believer is called to share the love of Jesus with others.

This week, we were challenged to think of just ONE person we can encourage, pray for, or remind that Jesus loves them. Because reaching all nations starts with reaching one person.

Let’s be a Kingdom Force that helps close the Gospel Gap—one relationship, one conversation, and one disciple at a time. ❤️

What an incredible Vision Sunday at Hope Church! 🙌

Yesterday, we paused to remember why we do what we do: bringing Hope to Delmarva through the love of Jesus Christ.

We celebrated God's faithfulness through:
✨ 26 people saying yes to Jesus through our recovery ministry since November
✨ 136 Bibles placed into the hands of men and women seeking hope
✨ 73 children impacted through CarePortal and over $49,000 in resources provided to local families
✨ Growing Hope Kids and Hope Youth ministries that are discipling the next generation
✨ Countless volunteers serving as the hands and feet of Jesus throughout our community

And the biggest announcement of the day...

🏠 After 5 years as a mobile church, Hope Church is officially purchasing its first permanent home!

This new space will allow us to expand ministry, serve more families, host community events, and continue sharing the hope of Jesus for generations to come.

Thank you to every volunteer, giver, prayer warrior, and servant who has helped make this possible. The best chapters of Hope Church are still ahead!
