Today our ladies wrapped up their study in the book of Habakkuk.
We learned much from this prophet about how to navigate difficulties in life by keeping our eyes focused on Jesus. It’s His character, His strength, His ability to enable us to walk through the darkest valley yet rejoice in Him as we go.
It’s about getting our eyes off our circumstances and fixing our eyes on Jesus. Not always an easy thing to do but when we determine to do trials in His power and strength, He enables us to remain faithful to Him through it all.

We look forward to begin our next adventure in the book of 1 Peter beginning after July 4th. A sign up will be coming soon.
We invite you to join us.

PREDESTINATION VS. FREE WILL
The Bible clearly teaches both the absolute sovereignty of God and genuine human responsibility-they do not contradict each other, even when they appear to be a paradox to our finite minds.

☀ Sunday Morning in the Word

In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. — Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)

We often seek God's guidance when we're facing a major decision, but this verse reminds us that He desires to be part of all our ways—not just the big moments, but the ordinary ones too.

To acknowledge God is more than simply believing He exists. It is recognizing His authority, seeking His wisdom, and inviting Him into every area of life. It is asking, Lord, what would You have me do? and then being willing to follow where He leads.
Sometimes we want God to reveal the entire path before we take the first step. But more often, He guides us one step at a time. As we walk in obedience, He faithfully directs our course.

This requires humility. It means laying aside our own understanding and trusting that His wisdom is greater than ours. It means turning to His Word for direction and allowing His truth to shape our decisions.

God delights in guiding those who seek Him. He is not trying to hide His will from His children. As we acknowledge Him daily, He faithfully leads us in the paths that honor Him and draw us closer to Christ.

Here’s a powerful reminder: our role is to testify to what we’ve seen and experienced in Christ — with love, humility, and grace — not to stand in judgment or accusation. The Holy Spirit convicts; we simply point people to Jesus.

What is truly the greatest miracle Jesus can perform in a person’s life? When we examine the account of Bartimaeus, it becomes clear that earthly restoration, though wonderful, is only a shadow of what the Gospel truly offers.

The incredible journey of Bartimaeus didn't end with the healing of his blindness! This former beggar became a front-row witness to Jesus' triumphal entry, crucifixion, resurrection, and the birth of the church at Pentecost. From asking for coins to being part of the 3,000 baptized—talk about a life transformation!

The world has a lot of opinions about Jesus. Some see a moral teacher, others a historical figure, and many just shrug Him off entirely.

But the most important question you will ever answer isn’t what the world thinks about Him. It’s what 𝒚𝒐𝒖 believe.

Who is He really? And what does that mean for the brokenness we all carry?

Take a moment to read the truth below. It’s the only foundation that holds when everything else falls apart. See it for yourself in Matthew 16:13-16 and Acts 4:12.

If you are wrestling with this, we are here for you. Send us a DM, and let’s talk.
