Green Acres Cemetery will participate in Wreaths Across America™ Day on Saturday, Dec. 16. at 10 AM. In a nationwide effort, volunteers will place remembrance wreaths on the headstones of up to 1600 veterans laid to rest in the cemetery. As each wreath is placed, the veteran’s name will be read aloud to ensure the individual who served in the U.S. armed forces is not forgotten. Ceremony starts at 10AM and wreath laying immediately following. Please join and volunteer to help place the wreaths.

As each wreath is placed, the veteran’s name will be read aloud to ensure the individual who served in the U.S. armed forces is not forgotten.
Green Acres is working with Exchange Club of Scottsdale and Tempe to raise the funds to purchase wreaths for each veteran’s grave. Those who wish to volunteer or sponsor a wreath may visit www.wreathsacrossamerica.org/AZGACS.
