Faith is only as good as the object you place it in. If you have a lot of faith, but you put all your faith in a weak object, it doesn’t matter how much faith you have - the object will not hold.

Christian faith is faith in Jesus, Christ is the object of our faith. Biblical faith is faith in Christ.

Join us tomorrow as Pastor Scott continues in Luke’s Gospel, focusing on Luke 8:40-56.  

This passage records two more miracles of Jesus that show his remarkable power and compassion when dealing with disease and death.  

Much has changed in the last 2,000 years, but the reality of disease and death have not. What hope do we have when we find ourselves facing those powerful enemies? Where do we turn?

Thank you to all the woman who came out to our Women’s Conference last Saturday! It was an amazing time together in worship, fellowship, and tracing God’s redemption story from Genesis to Revelation!

Prayer is effective - not because it controls God in some way, but because God hears our prayers and answers. Sometimes He answers “no”. Othertimes, he says “wait”, or “not yet”. The power of prayer does not always mean we will get the outcome that we pray for.
