Good morning Grace Fellowship and Friends,
What a wonderful blessing to have such a loving church family and friends. We love each other because He has soooo loved us! In Psalm 84:1-2,10,

“ How lovely is Your dwelling place, O Lord of host! My soul longs, yes faints for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh sing for joy to the living God. For a day in Your court is better than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.”

This is heart of the Sons of Korah pouring out their convictions concerning the constant care of Almighty God. It’s apparent that God has been soooo good to them that love and joy flow out of their hearts and souls. I pray this for us, today! May you experience a super blessed Monday!!!

I am sooo excited about a peace treaty being reached with Iran on my birthday! Hallelujah! Thank you Jesus! Remember all those on our hearts and Prayer List. I hope to see you men at 6pm Wednesday and all of you at 6:30pm for Bible Study and Prayer.

Good morning Grace Fellowship and Friends,
I love to see God’s creation! It still reminds me of such an intelligent, powerful, all knowing, all wise, and so loving and kind, Creator! And, we have the pleasure of taking care of it so that if He tarries His coming future generations can enjoy it too! God tells us through Isaiah 55:11-12,

“ So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

For you shall go out with joy, and be led out with peace; the mountains and the hills shall break forth into singing before you, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. “

You must use your spiritual faith and vision to understand how joyful God’s world will be when it it cleansed and made new. Just like us, it will rejoice as a new born child of God! Are you moved, motivated to praise our Lord Jesus as you did when you were saved? I hope so; remember practice helps us to be ready when we meet Jesus!

Pray for the finalization of a peace treaty with Iran! And, all those on our hearts and Prayer List. I hope to see you tomorrow at 9 and 10am, bragging on the One, who has set us free, Jesus Christ!!!

Friday 06/12/2026. Happy Birthday Raealyn Hastings and Louann Barnes!

Good morning Grace Fellowship and Friends,
As children we seem to migrate our thoughts and actions toward someone we admire. For whatever reason we think that person can do almost anything. And, for many of us it’s usually one of our parents if not both of them. They were the ones we called our providers. And rightly so, because they gave us food, shelter, clothing, and so much more. And, then I met Jesus Christ and learned that He was the one who motivated our parents to help us. And, then I read or heard read Ephesians 5:1-2 one day,

“ Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet smelling aroma. “

Striving to be like Him! He is our ultimate provider! So, we strive to provide for our children and others like He has so graciously done for us. But, we as Christians should never stop at the temporary things of this life. We should strive through prayer and our words, and deeds to introduce them to our Eternal Savior, Jesus Christ. Let them learn like us, that It was Jesus working through us to provide for them. Most children are recieving from their parents or care givers much of what this world offers but what they really need is someone (Jesus ) of Eternal value to live in their hearts and lives. Please help us to think beyound the silver and gold of this life, to you Lord Jesus!

Pray for this peace agreement with Iran! And all those on our hearts and Prayer List. I hope to see you Son-Day bragging on Jesus Christ, if He tarries!!!

Good morning Grace Fellowship and Friends,
When we get saved, we continue to battle our sinful flesh until the day we meet Jesus. If we strive to live in the Spirit, then our battles should get easier. The devil is always looking for a way to destroy our witness of the power of our Savior. Even the Apostle Paul struggled. How do I know this? In Romans 7: 14-25,
In verse 22-25, “ For I delight in the law of God according to the inward man.
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity of the law of sin which is in my members. O wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death? I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, with the mind I serve the law of God, but with my flesh the law of sin. “

Paul knew that every child of God would need this truth. The more we serve our Lord Jesus the better we get at doing His will, instead of ours! Please help us to listen to your voice and obey, Lord Jesus!

It was so good to see everybody last evening at our Fellowship meal. I long for us to have a place where we can better fellowship, with less distractions.
Nevertheless, it is good to have these times together, before He comes!
Remember to pray for a peaceful solution with Iran! And all those on our hearts and Prayer List.

Wednesday 06/10/2026. Happy Birthday Jamie Barnes!!!

Good morning Grace Fellowship and Friends,
Your name down here is so important. How would we be able to distinguish one another if it were not so! Names were given to children in the Old Testament that kept them in line with their heritage. Names are given to us by our parents personal choice, today. We grow up answering to our name from relatives, friends, and authorities. But there is a name that we all answer to ultimately in Acts 4:12,

“ Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. “

In verse 13, “… And they realized that they had been with Jesus. “

Peter and John had the awesome power of the Holy Spirit of God working through them, because of this crippled man being healed. How do others react to hearing our names? Do they think we’ve been with Jesus because of our love for Him and His Gospel and for others? I truly hope so! Please help us to be more like you, Lord Jesus!!!

Remember our military leaders and Soldiers! I hope to see you at The Top of the River at 6pm for our Fellowship Meal. Pray for all those on our hearts and Prayer List, until He comes!

Tuesday 06/09/2026

Good morning Grace Fellowship and Friends,
The Lord has got us through another night! Thank you Jesus! And, now to feast on His Spiritual Breakfast, the Eternal Word of God! In Acts 4:8,

“ Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, Rulers and elders of our people, are we being questioned today because we’ve done a good deed for a crippled man? Do you want to know how he was healed? Let me clearly state to all of you and to all the people of Israel that he was healed by the powerful name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, the man you crucified but whom God raised from the dead. “

Hallelujah! Glory to God! Peter spoke the truth! Even when the crowd that Peter was preaching to did not accept the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please help us to as bold in our sharing Your wondrous gospel, Lord Jesus!

Remember to pray for our Military Leaders and Soldiers. And, all those on our hearts and Prayer List. I hope to see at the Top of the River in G’vIlle tomorrow at 6pm for our Fellowship Meal. Text me the number of those that will be going with you so that I can give them a heads up.

Good morning Grace Fellowship and Friends,
What a wonderful day we had yesterday at GFBC! We not only experienced the pain ( His pain and suffering) and joy ( our forgiveness of sin )of the Lord’s Supper but also the wonderful rededication and baptism of Joe Bearden. I thank his family for helping him fulfill his hearts desire.
The Bible is so clear about Gods love for all human beings in John 3:16,

“ For God so the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. “

Thank you Jesus for making eternal life possible for everyone who believes, trust in Your death, burial, and resurrection! I hope you will ask Jesus to forgive you of all your sins and come into your life in the power of His Holy Spirit.

Remember our military leaders and soldiers. And, all those on our hearts ( Jessica Williams )and prayer list. I hope to see you Wednesday at 6pm at Top of the River in G’ville for our Fellowship Meal. I need a head count if you can go; please text me your name and number going with you, 256-571-6163.

Good morning Grace Fellowship and Friends,
Where would we be without each other to help us through all the valleys and mountain tops of this life? God speaks through the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:12-13, NIV,

“ Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body. “

We who have been born again by the Spirit of God make up the body of Christ! All Christians should wake-up every morning and report for duty, because we belong to Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord. We are here to help each other reach out to the unsaved all around us before He comes or before we go to be with Him! Please help us to realize why You saved us and left us here, Lord Jesus.

Remember our Military Leaders and Soldiers! And, all those on our hearts and Prayer List. I hope to see you tomorrow to Celebrate Believer’s Baptism and the Lord’s Supper! Bring your non-perishable food items!

Friday 06/05/2026

Good morning Grace Fellowship and Friends,
I hope you’re enjoying the sunshine of His Grace, Love, and Mercy. There are so many blessings to be had if we only trust and obey His Holy Word and
His Holy Spirit. I shiver in my house shoes when I read of Adrian in Our Daily Bread Devotional this morning. Just like the prophet Jonah, he was shallowed by a humpback whale as he and his father were kayaking. He thought he was dead but the whale spit him out into the water and his life jacket floated him to the surface. His dad was able to rescue him. We don’t know why the whale shallowed him. Yet, the Bible tells us that God had prepared this for Jonah 1:17,

“ Now the Lord had prepared a great fish to swallow Jonah . And Jonah was was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.

Jonah had been running from God’s Will and it cost him, tremendously! Are you running from God’s Will for your life and eternity? You will be a miserable person until you humble yourself before Holy God and repent ( ask Him to forgive you ) and surrender to what He wants! Then you, like Jonah, will be set free! No longer miserable, you will be rejoicing, full of joy in the Holy Spirit of God! Please help someone to experience their freedom in You,today, Lord Jesus!
Remember our nation and its leaders and our soldiers! All those on our hearts and Prayer List! It’s Friday but Son-Day is coming, if he tarries!
