I have questions....

How does one celebrate the murder of a man who spoke words protected under the 1st Amendment?

How does one celebrate a mother who murders her children and demand her release?

Are we being led into a time where we are making excuses/reasoning for the murder of others without consequence because we have a "mental health crisis"?

Clearly, we have a mental health crisis, but there must be punishment for murder. Whether the husband had any hand in it or not (he should face his own actions in court) does not justify murder. I believe she has lost her right to life.

There is help out there; reach out. If you don't find the help you need, find new help. But don't give up, and don't destroy someone else's life in the process.

Be well!

Christians should avoid hoarding or over-consuming hobbies because excessive focus on leisure can turn personal interests into idols, waste time meant for serving others, and distract from a genuine relationship with God.While rest and enjoyment are healthy gifts, an obsession with accumulating or doing too many activities crowds out spiritual growth.

Spiritual Risks Idolatry: Hobbies cross the line when they replace Christ as the primary source of joy, identity, and emotional stability.

Neglecting the Call: Over-involvement in personal pastimes leaves little energy or time for family, fellowship, and caring for people in need (Matthew 25:35-36).

Mismanaging Time: Believers are called to be good stewards of their days; an endless collection of hobbies can reflect self-absorption rather than purposeful living (2 Corinthians 5:10).

What the Bible Says About Boundaries

Love and forgiveness are commanded by God, but total access and deep trust must be earned and maintained through safe behavior.

Proverbs 22:24-25 tells believers not to make friends with a hot-tempered or angry person, lest they learn their ways.

Jesus withdrew from crowds, confronted manipulation, and did not allow abusive or destructive people to derail His God-given mission.

Scripture advises warning a divisive or unruly person a couple of times, and if they still refuse to listen or change, to separate from them (Titus 3:10, Matthew 18:15-17).

I have been toying with the idea of starting a book (Because I clearly don't have anything else to do!) on the realities of following Christ. I have read so many books that seem to romanticize the Christian life. And in America, that is mostly accurate, I think anyway.

But what does the Bible say about following Jesus? What does it mean to leave salvery to sin, to become a slave to Christ?

What are some things you would be interested in learning about, or questions you may have about Christianity? I don't think anything should be off-limits either. You may not like the answers, but we would do our best to give you the truth in grace.

So...let's start that conversation and see where it leads, shall we!
