🍞 Monday Manna🍞

The grass isn’t greener on the other side. It’s greener where it is watered.🌾

Every week, Monday Manna is our space to recap Sunday’s message and pivot toward the week ahead with the weekly spiritual practice of Dwelling in the Word. It's a little different this week but at least it's here!

Consider this weekly bread your gateway to a daily rhythm of gathering daily bread to sustain you like those who gathered manna in the wilderness.

If you are feeling dry, weary, or just grinding through the noise of daily life right now, this is your invitation to greener pastures. Brightest Blessings, Rev. TJ

Summer SabbathWe made it to summer—though not officially until later this month, close enough to breathe a sigh of relief that the cold of winter and storms of spring are falling away. Now it’s time for flowers, sunshine, warmth, and more light! For my family, we celebrate the last week of schoo...

We practice an open table and we extend it through our monthly food pantry donations that we bless at the altar on Communion Sunday for this reason.

This month's Communion service is bumped back a week since Rev. TJ is visiting her student pastor's church the first Sunday of June.

Communion is scheduled for June 14th at 9:30 am during worship

Bring yourself and bring some non-perishables if you are able.

Friends....I found this set of rosaries while cleaning today that I believe belonged to my great-grandma as she was a Roman Catholic from Slovakia. I showed you all the ascension crucifixion my grandma gave me from a yard sale but this has the Trinity on it and I never noticed before! Has anyone seen one like this before? I'm so moved to have found it the Sunday before Pentecost! God is so cool. -Rev. T

🔥 A New Tradition for Pentecost Sunday🔥

This upcoming Sunday, we are celebrating Pentecost with a beautiful new tradition that honors the life cycle of our church and our shared journey of faith.

Every single prayer candle being poured today is a piece of our history. They are crafted with:

🌿 Ashes from our Palm Sunday palms burnt for Ash Wednesday anointing
🌹 Dried flowers and greenery from our Easter living cross
🕯️ The melted remnant wax from every altar candle this past year
✨ Wax from the Christ candles of our Christmas and Lenten wreaths
🎨 Decorated by hand by one of our members

During our service, we invite you to **wear red** and light a candle of prayer, which will be yours to take home.

Come celebrate the Holy Spirit that sustains us as a resurrection people—reminding us that we can rise from the ashes of a broken life into the triumphant promises of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus.
