God doesn't wink at worldliness. It doesn't matter who you are, what your last name is, how much money you have, how much you think you have done for God or your family has, what church or denomination you are in involved in, etc., He still doesn't wink at the sin of connecting yourself to the world as a Christian!
He has shown me this clearly over the years, while it is in the Word of God clearly, unfortunately I followed the influence of others that I thought knew God, instead of just listening to what it is clearly in the Word. I got caught up in following people, that seem to have influence over those that call themselves Christians, instead of the influence of the Word over every other influence. This also is a grave sin in the eyes of God! It's called having respect of persons.
There is no such thing as a gray area in the eyes of God when it comes to sin. It's either corrupt or it's holy, there's no in between. There is no such thing as personal convictions. If it is wrong for one, it is wrong for all. The Word of God determines what is wrong though, not a church board etc. Many say there are a lot of gray areas the Bible doesn't deal with, not true! You are just trying to make something into a gray area because you like it and want to continue to do it and be a Christian.
The Bible teaches us that we are to come out from among them and be ye separate and touch not the unclean thing (2 Cor. 6). What would qualify as unlean? It is really an easy answer if you want to know and know it is not just the big 5 sins that everyone thinks about.
That which is unclean is anything that comes from (has it's inception in) the spirit and mindset of the world. So this would include... Anything that has been brought about (wether it was in their knowledge that is what they are doing or not) to take the focus off of God, and put it onto man. Anything that had come to get us to simply just pass our time here without thinking about eternity because it gives temporary feelings of euphoria. Anything that gives us a temporary, vain relief of feeling better about ourselves living in sin. Anything that makes light of sin or God. Anything that gets one caught up in the system of the love and pursual of riches. Anything that puts an emphasis of life here, rather than above.
In the scripture, this is called vanity. It's empty nothingness. It's life without thinking about God except in passing and even then it's a god that fits into their life not the other way around. It is that which comes to nothingness, here one day but gone the next without a single thought remembered of it.
So many call themselves Christians today, but they live their everyday life this way. Passing the time with the things of this world and all patting each other on the back while they do. The influence of the world has completely infiltrated the church and so many say that means that the church is finally caring about the world and reaching them. No, but satan has been successful at lulling the church to sleep with the comforts and entertainment of this world. He has throughly convinced them that they can even use the vain, entertainment mindset of the world to so call reach the world! Now the world and the mainstream so called church of today are going to hell together, hand in hand. Please don't let that be you as individual believer going with them! Better to go against the crowd and be hated then follow the crowd to an etetnal darkness!
1 John 2:15-17 KJV
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

The idea of progressive sanctification has ruined the church of today. It has caused people to believe that anyone can be used by God no matter how they live. It has caused phrases like (some of them scripture taken out of context) "he who is without sin cast the first stone", "judge not lest you be judged", "you don't know their heart", "who are you to judge?", "the gifts of God are without repentance", and "we all are growing in sanctification and we have to have patience with each other" etc. as a way to excuse someone blatently living in sin but then still have some kind of spiritual leadership role in the church.
Our Sanctification, just like our Justification is NOT something that we grow in, but it is in the person of Jesus Christ and it is imputed to us. You could even say Jesus Christ IS our Sanctification just like you can say He IS our Justification or He IS our Holiness.
And so how can you be even "conditionally" (as a term people like to use) partly in Jesus Christ and partly out of Him because you are still "growing in sanctification?" But that is what you are saying when you say you are being progressively sanctified or progressively saved even ("being sanctified" or "being saved" as false translations of the Bible like to put it) because our Salvation is also the person of Jesus Christ. No, but even anyone who teaches progressive sanctification would agree, you are ether in Christ or you are not.
Where the confusion comes in, and this may have been why this teaching of progressive sanctification started, is that we are still clearly living in this flesh that is imperfect and we wrestle against. So yes we do have to see there is a growth process there, but however terms are very important and the way we say things when it comes to scripture can lead to life or death for the church.
The only growth we see in scripture is in knowledge and in faith. And it's the grace of God is what enables us to still remain in Christ and thus be holy though we are still growing in our knowledge and our faith, you could also call that growing in grace because of that. Growing in grace in not a phrase to use to prove progressive sanctification because if you read the whole scripture it says, "growing in grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."
The term sanctification again means to be set apart from the profane, to be holy. There is only One as we know that is holy and that is God. Holiness cannot be something we can grow in or obtain gradually, it must be imputed. Therefore, again think of the term and what it means here, our sanctification must be imputed just like our justification. Both words sanctification and justification at their root definition speak of the holiness or righteousness that has been imputed to us while at the same time they describe different aspects of it.
Justification shows us that we have been given this gift of being legally declared as not guilty in Christ though we are guilty in ourselves. Sanctification shows us that we have been given this gift of being able to be completely seperated from the profane (sin, world, flesh, and the devil) in the way we live and guide our lives everyday.
We don't have to give ourselves over to evil anymore, we instead have a choice to walk in our sanctification, a.k.a. walk in the Spirit, or a.k.a. remain "in Christ.".
Again this is for our everyday life. We must choose to walk in what we already have been given through Christ. And "in Him" we will walk in complete victory and it is when we remain "in Him", He can use us. It's where the fruit of the Spirit and the gifts of the Spirit can operate. It's "in Him"! In our Sanctification! It's where the Spirit through Paul says, "you will not fullfill the lust of your flesh," so you will live a perfect, holy life in God's eyes.
Again, as said previous, you are growing in knowledge so it doesn't mean sins of ignorance won't be committed as you are walking the Spirit a.k.a. your Sanctifucation, but, that is where His grace comes in. Because of His grace He still looks at you as righteous and holy (both posistionally and conditionally) even though you are still growing in His knowledge in Him and will, in the places you are still ignorant, not please Him 100 percent of the time. Remember though it's Christ's holiness imputed, not our own. But, we must conintue to strive to grow in knowledge and faith, we can't stay stagnant, or we will frustrate His grace and will fall back (begin to walk outside of our sanctification). For God will not allow us to continue in sin (sins of willfull disobediance- you know it's wrong and yet you still do it), so that His grace may abound. No, but a person that does this will then begin to walk outside of God's grace and their Sanctification a.k.a. Christ.
This is why someone who do this having chosen to revive the old man, and live according to the ways of self (which is what we can all fall back into doing and where Paul was in Romans 7), cannot be used by God but will instead spend their time struggling with sin. They may try to make it look like they are being used by God, by some good works being done but they are in the end bringing forth nothing but only what the flesh can bring forth and that is death.
But, in actuality, most of these people claiming to be leadership in the church of today or even Christians but are living in sin, are not even saved and have never been born again. However, they can get away with what they claim and the position they have while not really living for God, because the church of today has believed the lie of progressive sanctification.
It isn't just a mis-representation of a term, but it is a mis-representation of who Christ is, because that term is another name for who He is. The church of today and it's sinful, worldly mindset they see as something to make an excuse for, is the result of that mis-representation of who He is. You get the personhood of Christ wrong even in one aspect, you get it all wrong apostatcy is the result!
The people in the church of today have failed to want to grow in the knowledge of Christ for themselves, they want someone they see on tv to do the hard work and just hand it to them on a silver platter. Well sorry, but because of that, even though it may be fed to you on a silver platter, all you are getting is that which will rot you from the inside out!! You are a target for deception and that IS what has come upon you!

"This is shockingly evil. The room erupted in uproarious applause as the killing of unborn babies up to the very moment of birth was legalized.
With the stroke of a pen, Massachusetts Governor Healey sealed the fate of countless unborn babies. Abortion for any reason, anytime, anywhere. No restrictions.
California, Washington, and Minnesota have already changed their laws to allow the killing of abortion survivors – some quietly swapping "prenatal" for "perinatal" to permit babies to be killed up to 28 days after birth.
Others like Gov. Walz are simply stripping away existing protections for babies who survive abortions. And a pro-life bill that would ban infanticide nationally was BLOCKED by Senator Schumer.
Planned Parenthood and the abortion lobby are pushing this evil into more states"

This is from an article I came across this morning. What a horrible evil that shows how badly this country is continuing to detoriate spiritually still. Straight murder blatently of innocent babies and they think because they change a word it makes it fine . Just because abortion laws changed to being handled at state level it did nothing to change the evil in the heart concerning this, of course because laws don't change the heart, laws just make the heart re-direct the evil. Now the states that are for it are taking it to a greater extreme and of course welcoming those women living in other states who have banned it (even taking extra measures to help the get there) and want one, which we are seeing that women do in fact drive to other states to murder their own child. And we have seen that despite a number of states banning abortion and closing down abortion clinics, the number of abortions per year nationally has grown not declined. Hear that the number of them nationally has gradually grown not declined! That is because an abortion clinic is still usually not that far away for a woman wanting one, they just have to drive to the next state and there is no barriers for them to do but they are welcomed by these abortion friendly states. Also since the states that are all for abortion have no interferance in the laws they make concerning it, they have made it to where a woman can get an abortion at any stage in pregnancy, even after the baby is born! This and a rise of tele-health medicine induced abortions has caused the number to rise instead of fall even despite 13 states banning it.
Overturning of Roe v Wade was looked at as a huge victory and it was politically to the person needing the votes but if we are truly one country, United States, then there will be no true victory until this evil is fully expelled from our coasts!
That brings me to the point of why I am writing this, laws can be changed to try to prevent evil and rightfully so but again it does not change the heart. They may change the way we percieve something, it may look like our nation is doing spiritually better because we banned something very evil in certain states. But the evil is still present because the people themselves in the heart want the evil and don't see it as evil but healthcare of all things! What I am trying to get to is that the only thing that is going to expel this great evil from our coasts and many others is true revival!! That which currently we are not in or have even begun to be in as some would claim. Nope but as I have been saying over and over again, the church of today is spiritually and thus morally bankrupt! As the saying goes, so goes the church, so goes the world. The proof is in the pudding. I don't care how many stadiums at colleges are filled up or how many water baptisms are had with a claim of revival! Where is the morality of the church in this nation? Where is the morality of the nation as a whole? That is the facts I am looking at ... not what you say is revival when all it really is ppl coming to a concert and getting dipped in water so the person hosting it can look good and get more supporters and thus more money.
You see when Jesus, the true Jesus of the Bible, shows up on the scene things change dramatically!! I am not talking about some on the surface change or some manipulating numbers or laws to make it look like change, but a deep hearted, deep rooted, complete and utter change that lives on and impacts for an eternity. That is what Jesus does!! When He has truly come to a town through a group of people it will be well known because the whole town will change, those that made their livelihood off of selling sin and darkness will go out of business. This is a biblical true result and ear mark of true revival.
But the church of today instead of impacting the world by letting the true Jesus Christ shine through them, are right with the world doing the same things, driven by the same greed. Greed is behind why they still are trying to say God is using them, they manipulate numbers and experiances to try to make it like they are the ones God is using so that they are the ones people support monetarily. The heart of it is evil! The same evil that causes people to want to murder babies. You think God looks at it as different but He doesn't! You people that live in ungodliness and worldliness but claim you are doing something for God and speak for God and work for God, and those that support them with itching ears no matter what they do are just as evil in Gods eyes! Why? Because you are keeping people from the truth all for your own material gain because you are giving them a mixture of truth! Those people that think abortion is healthcare and the babies they kill, that blood is on your hands! You are keeping this nation in a place of continual rapid spiritual deteriation! You lead people to half truths that keep them in sin and then you claim to speak Gods Word. You false prophets and teachers, hypocrites! You are to blame! Repent while there is still time! Repent and truly be changed and come to God for grace before His vengence comes upon you!!! You know who you are!!! You can't blame things on a political group of people when you yourself are just like them in your heart!
