Pastor Ricky Temple

Pastor Ricky Temple Intentional Living is my goal in life. I am going to live life on purpose. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, give all you can while you can , join me and live.

05/24/2026

In this sermon, Pastor Rick explores what it means to truly endure spiritually by asking, “Will I Last?” and reminding believers that God is able to keep, guard, and preserve them through seasons of exhaustion, isolation, and discouragement. Through Jude 24, he challenges listeners to reflect on the areas where God has protected them, examine the routines sustaining their faith, and consider the spiritual practices that help them remain steady in difficult seasons.

Set a pace for your life. Set priorities that are important and decide if this is the price you’re willing to pay.

Hey, you all (in my deep southern accent), It’s been a while. I am up and reaching out. How goes your world? My world is progressing along and doing well. I just finished a book project on how to get along with people you love and deal with. It’s called “Relationship Gumbo: The Guilt-Free Recipe to Manage Love and Relationships.”

It’s for married, single, and anyone who wants to know how to resolve conflict and get along with people without the unnecessary tension of guilt and strife. We will be releasing it at the beginning of the year. Would this book help you?

I have been sitting back watching the world on fire and praying. I think it is important for us to stay on mission and tell the truth, be kind, and not allow ourselves to get uplifted with religious pride.

I am concerned today that many believers have lost their focus and the ability to stand in the middle of the room and love everyone.

Jesus died to save the world (John 3:16) not just people who go to our church. By the way church attendance is down with only about 20% of Americans attending, with only 30% of them going every week and the rest going every 4-6 weeks. This is good compared to the rest around the world (look at Europe’s numbers in the single digits, scary). So, pause the train and let’s get back on mission. Love everyone, get rid of the insults and political posturing. Lets meet in the middle of the room and talk like we were taught to by our parents.

I had a great day and feel encouraged and ready to build a future. How are you doing and what is your next step dream?

03/29/2023

It is late but I am up thinking about my future. I have learned that people who want something must plan something. What do you want and what is your plan. Talk back to me and give me at least two plans you have for this year.
